The north had barely had time to celebrate the gains of our military against boko haram before the current onslaught by bandits.

From the President's state of origin - Katsina to sokoto, Niger, Kaduna, Zamfara etc its been gory tales of blood & tears.

Our security strategy & architecture needs to be rejigged. These infidels are not better equipped than our military. They are only more strategic, know our weaknesses & are milking them to their full advantage.

I'm not keen on sacking of service chiefs. I'm about the little things which we must improve on ASAP. One is intelligence gathering. Our intelligence agencies must spread their network into these hotspots providing our military credible intel to work with.

On thier part, our military really need to improve its response time. That these bandits spend hours in an area unchallenged really sucks. The military must be stragetically positioned to respond within an hour to an attack anywhere in the country.

We can not continue like this.
