The automation of jobs in a communist state will be a welcome development since everything is jointly owned by the people and jobs can be shared to go round all, whereas in a capitalist state where it is everyman for himself, automation can lead to an increase in unemployment. In a country like North Korea, automation will be very welcome since every piece of the economy is communally owned by all and it is from everybody according to ability and to everybody according to need. A communist nation does not have to worry about losing jobs to automation as whatever jobs are left will be shared amongst all. This is why the global community should adopt the model of free market communism, a model where labor is socialized and no one is left behind. A model where everyone is a tax paying worker with nobody left behind. The economy will be ruled by the free market while the labor is socialized. The national goal in a communist state will be to automate as many human tasks as possible and leave very little human tasks as possible to share amongst the workers.

What will her citizens do, an idle mind is the devil's workshop, they would start thinking of how to topple the government

Believe me, if jobs are shared to all, more jobs will be created and no one will be idle. Academic research alone is job waiting to be embarked upon. In the olden days whose economy is not as developed as the modern economy, there were no unemployed. Slaves and free borns worked alongside each other and everyone was occupied.
