Abia2023: Otti Visits Newly Elected APC Caucus Chair, Sen. Kalu (Photos)

Former Abia state gubernatorial candidate of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Dr Alex Otti, on Wednesday morning, visited the Chief Whip of the Senate, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu at his residence in Abuja.

IGBERE TV had reported that Senator Kalu was elected the Chairman of the caucus of All Progressives Congress ( APC) Abia state chapter, on Tuesday.

Recall that Otti was rumoured to have decamped to the APC to pursue his gubernatorial ambition after failing in his two outings under the APGA.

It's looking like his short time in prison gave Senator Orji Kalu time to reflect on his time as failed govenor with resolve to make amends.

One key reason why Abia State hasn't seen much impact from its annual budgets is because Orji Kalu laid a faulty foundation of looting and then handed over to an imbecilic looting machine, who again handed over to another bundle of disappointment.

Well, Dr. Alex Otti ticks all the vital boxes. If Orji Kalu sincerely wants to destroy his earlier foundation and lay a new one with Dr. Otti as governor, then Abians should thanks God for that time he spent in lonely prison cell.

One only hopes that Dr. Alex Otti will at least, with sense of urgency, use his first term in office to transform Abia instead of the usual fight for independence from godfather. If he disappoints like the others, then Abia State should consider changing its state slogan from "God's Own State" to ... something I hate to mention.
