I have meticulously followed the PTF briefings on covid-19 but there are still things I don't understand and will like to be educated on:
1. If someone contacts covid-19 now, can he infect another person immediately or is there a gestation period. If yes how long?
2. When someone is said to be cured of covid-19, is it that the virus in him/her have all been killed, or the viral load has gone down significantly or the symptoms have been cured?
3. If a person comes in contact with a person with covid-19 and through out the encounter, the patient did not cough can the person still contact the virus!

Covid 19 is caused by a novel corona virus,

No.1 If person contacts it by shaking hand with someone, you will contact it if you shake his hand before he washes his hand, however, you can only get infected when the virus finds its way to your respiratory track through your nose or mouth
I don't know about the eyes though.

..... No.2. When someone is said to be cured, it means the viral load is reduced to an undetectable level.

...Lastly, you will not contract it if the person did not cough or sneeze within an unsafe distance with you. And you also did not touch any surface that is contaminated with the virus.
