Ok I have several accounts and Access Bank used to be my favorite because of their App. Now am really worried because of this Stamp duty monthly charge. For the month of May, I got billed twice, 150 and 200 while this June, I got billed 250. Pls can someone explain this Stamp duty thing for me before I close my account?

Google it, CBN mandated all banks to charge 50naira on all inflows into any account 10k and over. Your govt is charging you for using your account in simpler terms.

I noticed same, the bank is charging multiple times for a particular transaction |

Op what about being charged postage stamp for the month of November in June. If u see this particular debit alert what will u do. Their own is too much? It seems like the person responsible for the postage stamps charge is being given free reign, is not held accountable and does as he pleases, this person has totally gone berserk. |

I'm interested in this too...my guy complained yesterday. Let me quickly check mine and confirm. Brb Modified: Attached is mine. I think it is N50 for each transaction above 10k. So the number of transactions above 10k carried in previous months determined how much they charged. They are currently deducting the stamp duties for previous months cause they didn't deduct it then.
