Exactly. Look at her saying 'I am the wife of a politician'. Wife of constituted authority.

Even when people are trying to play down on the pomposity and pride while the man was in government just to allow him rest in peace, this woman will not allow sleeping dogs lie. "I am the wife of a politician" doesn't make you the politician. Awon "I don't pick unknown numbers" gang.

Why wait till a formal notice? Even villagers knew he was sick and later died.

Are you aware that his death had been a subject of rumour and denials ?
So it was better for the government to wait for official confirmation from the family. The late man's media aid who was central to denials ought to've informed all necessary authorities.

Communication gap between the family of deceased and Oyo state government.
I will advise the woman to go and meet APC people that used her husband's death to play political game

Oyo state people, over to you.
No he was I've paid for those years. He served himself not Oyo State. Nobody begged him to contest. It was Hus own choice n for his own selfish reason.

That's just unnecessary excuse. You don't continue fighting someone even in death. They don't have to wait to be formally informed of his death, this is a family grieving. No one in this country would claim ignorance of the death of Ajimobi immediately it was announced, how much more his state governor who's his successor.
They are not babies. That is the protocol. They are elitists and members of the ruling class of the society. So, they can't claim ignorance. Infact, no matter the political differences, they should have informed the state government immediately the former governor of took ill. It is absolutely state responsibility to take care of the former governor.

I believe Mrs. Florence Ajumobi was speaking as a woman who has be overwhelmed with emotions as a result of the death of her husband, but the truth must be said, it's totally unpatriotic, inhumane and lack of maturity for the Oyo State Government not to have sent a high powered delegation to commensurate with the Ajumobi Family. Life is simple and Governor Makinde should be smarter than that and should have done the needful.

Some of our politicians still need to learn how to separate politics, personality and office. In respective of whatever has happened, Makinde ought to have given respect to the dead especially as a former Governor to pay a condolence visit to the family who would have received him as the current governor of the state. If the family refuse to open the door of their house to the Governor then that will be another issue altogether. Makinde needs more mature advisers.

Imagine Jonathan wife talking to Osibanjo like that. That show was too bad.
She later represented her position in a formal manner but it was too late.

If one is able to rewind d hand of clock maybe just maybe Ajimobi should not have demolished dat studio, he might have handled d LAUTECH University students demonstration better without reminding them he is d constituted authority. All these are now history but will those still alive and on d path of such likely end learn?. Life is just ephemeral and law of karma has no intention of having an expiring date yet.
But he made peace with the same man whose studio he destroyed. The man forgave him so who are we to go back to that subject matter?

there is so much bitterness btw the governor and the late former governor. I think Makinde can play more maturity by visiting the family of the bereaved. ajumobi is gone so what is still the fight all about. The woman is just being a woman and that's how women are. Anyone expecting her to act like a man does not understand a woman

You people are too emotional sef.
That was high delegation enough.
Are you saying today that if Jonathan should die today, I pray not, Buhari must compulsory be there? Assuming Osibanjo is trying to contact the family, they would say that his number is a strange number.

Pontius Pilate ,convinced that Jesus was innocent of the trumped up charges against Him,asked: are you King of the Jews? Jesus replied: My Kingdom is not of this world. This answer has been cited by great minds who are burdened by knowledge and human freedom.
Life is transient. Nothing is guaranteed in this fleeting world. It seems she hasn't come to terms that her late husband is, and was no longer the CONSTITUTED AUTHORITY?
I tell people that power is like water. It is fluid, liquid. If you hold it today, pretend that it will end tomorrow or the next moment. And always be ready to resign or fall on your sword if necessary. That way you cannot be disappointed with its aftermath.

Who goes about singing to the world that their loved one is sick? Well, unless the person needs the public for financial assistance.

They didn’t have to sing to the world but the state govt. he’s still a property of oyo state.
There’s a protocol I believe.
The state should have been informed rather than hearing in the media
I’m sure the presidency was informed

she's a widow of a former Governor that deserve some respect and sensitivity from the current Governor and the state govt. No one will be Governor forever and life happens to everyone.

To be frank, after the call was not picked, the Deputy Governor should have sent a text. At that moment she might not even be in the mood to pick call
