It's a life of colors so life deals everyone different cards. For some, the Fortunes are of comfort and affluence. For others, we strive for change to escape abject poverty and hunger.

I come from a background where life's colors has always been either black or white. You know the Olden days TV had just black and white and can't be compared with the coloured TV. WE the "black and whites" weren't privileged to be like other families who had all the colors. All fingers are not equal.

In school, these kids had both parents alive and enough to eat and families show them love. The church treats them different, the hospital treat them different and everything fell in place for them. But my family, we could use the hospital but we'll have to pay twice that's if 3 times isn't an available option grin

But hey neem tree and mango leaves work wonders especially when you add lemon leaves. my sister could have sworn the boiled leaves could cure cancer. That was our alternative to hospitals.

Being a less privileged kid, food comes during and after a hard days labor on the sugarcane farm. We kept the carbohydrates on rotate like DJ Jimmy Jett and any animal we could find in the Bush. It was when I started going to school I learnt there was something called balanced diet. I understood my tummy protruding wasn't as a result of wealth (since we were rich from afar grin ) but kwashokor.

That's why you've been misbehaving and doing almajiri all over NL?

You better quit begging and get serious with your life, get something worthwhile doing so you won't bring your own children too into a poor family.

My 1 cent to you.

PS: Below is the full post the Mumu man no gree post. Now you be the judge as to who took almajiri as a work, me or him?
