You mean you are not taking any action. Several of us are actively raising our voices to governments around the world to get them to stop the injustices against Africa and Africans.

It's people like you that still worship the white man's behavior as always right and your fellow African's as always wrong.

To the government?..lol, your government sold you out years ago, you think they're there to save you, ignorance is your problem

Their religion?... Most Nigerians found peace with that belief and willingly chose to trust Christianity, most i'll admit are ignorant. but all i see in these recent times are "Nigerians" exploiting their fellow countrymen through Christianity

You can't find peace in a religion that you were forcefully compelled to follow. That Nigerians now willingly follow Christianity is because our forefathers were forced to convert at gun point. The ones that refused were mostly killed or in a constant state of fear of being killed.

New Christians (or Muslims) didn't even get to choose their denominations, we get indoctrinated since birth.

Break yourself away from mental shackles that the white man has placed you in for generations and you will see the true face of Christianity for what it is.

And Before you try to tell me how I am an anti-Christ, one of my parent is a provincial pastor in the biggest pentecostal church in Nigeria and I have performed countless on the alter in the annual conventions of this church. It takes a lot of personal research and a willingness to break free to be able to get to where I'm at today.

And lack of comprehension is your problem. I never mentioned the government here did I. There are several of US around the world actively fighting injustices against Africa and Africans.

Get your head out of the white man's asshole and you might begin to see and appreciate the struggle that's going on everywhere around the world by several blacktivists.

The whites brought missionary and ended up looting our deities..

Blacks its time to wise up and sometimes do your thinking by yourselves.

You are just an ignoramus. The Europeans have been trading on Palm Oil in the Nigerian coast for centuries long before the slave traders and colonialists and later the missionaries came. The Missionaries actually came late. In fact it was the coming of the missionaries that ended slave trade. There were many documented struggles between the missionaries and the slave traders.

You didn't do a proper research bro. It's obvious that you're a RCCG member who lost faith.

There was never a time that people were forced to become christians at gun point. You need to do a less biased research and study the difference between the Colonialists and the Christian Missionaries. They both came with different intentions and often times clashed. They were never one and the same.

Oga, you're talking about history which I don't even have the strength to go in lane into it with you now.
we are talking about what transpired, how our deities got to the foreign land and what was in exchange for it.

Why didn't those useless deities strike the white men with thunder? Or are the deities racist in nature? Why demand blood and sacrifice from the blacks but turn deaf and dumb when the white man stole you?

The same Juju that used to wipe out an entire village in Africa is now chilling inside a museum. Abi juju nor dey work under AC?
Re: Christie Sells Nigerian Statues Of Igbo Deities That Were Looted by RaptorX: 1:35pm On Jun 30, 2020
Africans do not realize that this objects that we look down on and called demonic because of christianity are actually centers of power. That is why we are in the situation we are right now because we have abandoned our source of power and are therefore vulnerable. The Europeans know the potency of what your ancestors have but we don't.

My question is how did they get to Foreign lands and couldn't cause calamities there? Why didn't those useless deities strike the white men with thunder as they used to strike their Black worshippiers? Or are the deities racist in nature?

It is a big dilemma.

The whites looted some artifact and sold them at premium prices. But here in Nigeria, one slowpoke will claim to have found Christ and will burn the remaining artifact while people cheer him on.

Africa has many resources that they don't know. You hear about Chinese miners in different locales. You wonder why the dumb African brains couldn't figure it out. Yet they expect respect from the rest of the world because they are only interested in finished products.

Nigeria cannot refine petroleum in 2020.

Lol, the white folks for centuries used religion as a leverage for extortion on the black race. How funny it sounds.!

Its best kept in the hands of foreigners. They will preserve it longer than we can. In a 100yrs it will still look new, and it will still be described as a Nigerian artefact regardless of where or who its with.

Thesame way Nigeria would have still remained in foreign hands. We would have been better of!

They didn't steal the artifact, they bought them from your fore fathers in exchange for a bag of salt.now, they 've taken them to their land to harness the powers positively to their advantage, leaving our shrines empty and powerless. Our traditional values now resides in foreign land.
Re: Christie Sells Nigerian Statues Of Igbo Deities That Were Looted by ottersberger(m): 2:23pm On Jun 30, 2020
I visited a catholic monastery many years ago in Sankt Ottilien Germany, what I saw brought tears to my eyes. Authentic antique African art pieces on display and in good numbers. They sure didn't purchase these from the legitimate owners. As it stands, I'm still planning to sue then in a law court.

Why?. Because, according to German law, if a man breaks into your house and steals your belonging, then sells the stolen goods to another, even if the receiver indeed paid for the received goods, but since it is stolen from another, the receiver has committed a crime even if unwittingly, and must return the stolen goods to the rightful owner. The people who purportedly sold these masterpieces for a whistle were not the rightful owners, so the transfer could not have been lawful.

The European have always found a way to explain away their cleptomania when it comes to their dealings with Africa and until citizens unite to sue France and Britain (nothing great about them) in their very own law courts with the attendant media attention, they will keep getting away with murdering people cultures and traditions.

I think Nigerian Authorities ought to seize any asset attributable to Christie's and whoever is behind the auction in Nigeria or use its clout to do the same in any African or allied country. This is the position Nigerian politicians ought to be struggling to stand the country instead of the asinine stealing and pauperizing the population that have become their stock in trade.

Who would think that priests are also thieves.

Don't waste your precious time arguing with that bigot. He is not an African in case you haven't noticed. Many white supremacists have started infiltrating black forums because white supremacists are a mentally ill people so don't assume everyone on Nairaland is African. The case of stolen artifacts is funny..
Because it only worth something because it was stolen..
If it wasnt stolen it wouldn't be worth squat
It is not true.
The stolen artifacts from Egypt are invaluable even in their original habitats.
