You can't find peace in a religion that you were forcefully compelled to follow. That Nigerians now willingly follow Christianity is because our forefathers were forced to convert at gun point. The ones that refused were mostly killed or in a constant state of fear of being killed.

New Christians (or Muslims) didn't even get to choose their denominations, we get indoctrinated since birth.

You are just an ignoramus. The Europeans have been trading on Palm Oil in the Nigerian coast for centuries long before the slave traders and colonialists and later the missionaries came. The Missionaries actually came late. In fact it was the coming of the missionaries that ended slave trade. There were many documented struggles between the missionaries and the slave traders.

It is a big dilemma.

The whites looted some artifact and sold them at premium prices. But here in Nigeria, one slowpoke will claim to have found Christ and will burn the remaining artifact while people cheer him on.

Africa has many resources that they don't know. You hear about Chinese miners in different locales. You wonder why the dumb African brains couldn't figure it out. Yet they expect respect from the rest of the world because they are only interested in finished products.
