Google killed the Android Beam sharing feature with the release of Android 10 in favour of something more convenient; Nearby Sharing, which is reminiscent of Apple's Airdrop. Google play services beta testers are now seeing the feature in the share menu and requires WiFi and Bluetooth turned on to initiate connection, after which WiFi takes on the transfer. unlike Xender it doesn't require any app installed to work. Android users dating back to Marshmallow (V6.0) can sign-up for the beta testing program to use the feature or wait till the public version rollsbout, probably later this year. this is great news as Chinese apps like Xender, are being bound by different government around the world. e.g India placed a bound on several Chinese apps few days ago; apps like Xender, es file explorer, TikTok, Likee, etc.
