Is COVID-19 the disease for the Nigerian rich and powerful alone? It appears poor Nigerians have immunity against it.

I agree. I think God is punishing them for years of abandoning the health sector

It's not true.
The main issue is that the average Nigerian is not being tested.
And even when they have clear symptoms of the virus, their usual "God forbid" or "it's not my portion" mentality doesn't allow them present themselves for test.

It's a different case with the rich ones. A simple call will bring the NCDC officials to their houses.

Ask yourself why a rich man mostly holed up in his room would have it, while a poor Nigerian who's always on the street struggling won't have it, considering that the predominant mode of spread is via the airway?

This is best classified as mumu talk

Firstly the elites are the ones traveling and flying up and down

Second they get tested and their results is shared publicly by themselves because rich are mostly public figure

Corona virus has gotten to community spreading (poor) and several people are afraid to get tested

Others (poor) simply go about with their cough and cold symptoms because some still think corona is a scam

Don't be fooled even in foreign countries, some people die and their corona status is known through autopsy
