Like I wrote earlier, there have been misconception about God's identity for quite a long time, Jesus definition of who God is clearly show that God never commanded the Isrealite to massacre people as recorded in the old testament, for instance, God told Moses to go to Pharoad and tell Pharoad to let my people go, Moses went to Pharoad and told Pharoad that God say he should let his people go [/b]so they can sacrifice to Him in the Wilderness[b]. That wasn't the message from God.

Through Jesus we now know that many events in the old testament attributed to God wasn't actually from God.

How do you differentiate what God said and what he didn't say & what God did and what He didn't do? By knowing God's true identity, when you know God's real identity, you can easily differentiate what was God and what wasn't and can't be God.
