I am a cross on which decision to make at this time as I want to invest in a landed property.

First Choice
* Buy a piece of land in one of these estates in Abuja(1m) through an estate company(adron homes), but they usually have some fees that I don't really understand Eg Developmental Fee, infrastructurural fee etc.

Second Choice
* Buy a normal land in a community in kaduna(where I reside) for 1m, through an agent and no other fee attached.

Reasons for confusion
1. I don't intend developing that land, it serves as pure investment to be resold later in future.
2. I don't want a land that begins to give issues later in the future.

PS: I Brough this here cause I am certain that someone would have been in my position.
As they said, who the ask question no dey miss road.

Thanks for your anticipated responses

The higher the profit, the riskier.

The plot of land in Abuja holds a better prospect of appreciating in value within a short period. But the risk here is not just about the other fees which you don't seem to understand. The risk is that chances are high you might run into fraudsters and end up losing your money.

The land in Kaduna has less risk, reason being that you know more about those lands since you reside there. You also have the opportunity to explore many avenues to find out the genuineness of the seller and the agent.

From the above, you make a choice. But for me, buy the land in kd, at least your money is safe.

@sunshyne no cause for alarm. Allow me to speak for what I know.
I stand with adron not just because of the land security(it's government approved) but also if you are buying strictly for investment you don't have to pay beyond land money.
Contact me for more info on 07043699177

NOTE: if you are buying properties from adron never pay into any individual account else you could be a victim of scam.
