See How Buhari Has Turned His Home Town, Daura Into A Shining City With Multi-Billion Naira Projects

In 2015, as soon as President Muhammadu Buhari became President of Nigeria, the first project he undertook was the construction of a multi-million naira helipad close to his house in Daura. The helipad was to allow him fly in an helicopter directly to his home town without travelling through the dusty roads that lead up to his house. Since then, Daura, a hitherto sleepy village, has become a beehive of major federal government projects. And over the years, officials of the Buhari government, including ministers and heads of agencies, have engaged in a subtle rush to site major project in Daura, in an apparent attempt to impress the president.

As a result, in a short space of time, Daura has metaphorsed from a sleepy town into a giant construction site and an emerge hub for commercial activities. At the last counts, many of the projects have been completed with a number of them still under construction. And according to a report on Daily Trust newspaper, some are still being planned as sites have been allocated for them. Some of the projects also involve rehabilitation or expansion of existing ones, re-activation and completion of those abandoned as well as new ones.

The newspaper also noted that Daura is perhaps Nigeria’s biggest construction site as heavy-duty machines can be seen at different locations carrying out different projects, including road construction, drainages, schools, water projects, etc, depicting an apparent testimony of benefiting from the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari.

But it is not just the government agencies that are undertaken the projects, even some of the president’s friends and hangers-on, are said to be bankrolling some of the projects, apparently in a bid to please the president or even as compensation for the favour they have received from the government.

The President Muhammadu Buhari has approved a rail line from Kano to his hometown in Daura.

Of all the projects going on in Daura, the one that catches the eye the most and is sure to leave a massive impact in terms of socio-economic transformation is the Transportation University. The Transportation University in Daura is a massive N18 billion worth and the groundbreaking was done last year by the President. The project is expected to be completed in the next one-and-a-half year according to The Minister of transportation Chibuike Amaechi.

This is the REAL CHANGE BUHARI PROMISED STUPID NIGERIANS WHO VOTED HIM INTO POWER TWICE.

The siting of the project in Daura drew some criticism from Nigerians who questioned why it had to be the President’s home town, by Amaechi dismissed the complaints. The Minister told the media that he had no regret situating the university in Daura, the president’s hometown, as the town is in Nigeria and not in another country.

“When we sited the factory at Kajola, there was no noise; nobody debated about it; nobody abused us for it. Nobody influenced me to site this university here. Anybody who accuses me of being a sycophant; let me admit it in advance that I am a sycophant. And if you know the president very well, you will know that sycophancy does not sit well with Mr. President.

Amaechi continued: “Daura is in Nigeria. It is not in any other part of the world. It is not in Niger; it is not in Biafra; it is not in Mali; it is in Nigeria; so, what is wrong in siting a University of Transportation in Daura. I have no regret citing this university in Daura". Case closed.

SADLY, AMAECHI FROM SOUTH SOUTH CANNOT BOAST OF ANY SOUTH SOUTH VILLAGE THAT HAS BEEN TRANSFORMED IN EQUAL MEASURES WITH THE OIL MONEY DERIVED FROM NIGER DELTA. SHAME ON AMAECHI. HE DESERVED A GOLDEN BULLET.

MY THOUGHTS.
1. NIGERIA IS A FARCE BUILT ON FRAUD. IT NEEDS TO DISINTEGRATE. ONLY THOSE BENEFITING FROM THE STATUS QUO WOULD WISH OTHERWISE. 2. NIGERIA NEEDS THE JERRY RAWLINGS TREATMENT. ALL PREVIOUS AND CURRENT POLITICAL OFFICE HOLDERS SHOULD BE KILLED AND THEIR POSSESSIONS CONVERTED INTO STATE OWNERSHIP.
3. LAWS SHOULD BE PASSED WHICH AFFIRM DEATH PENALTY FOR ANY PUBLIC OFFICIAL INVOLVED IN FRAUD.
