let Obaseki get the loan biko, Edo no be Lagos

the way Edo people go suffer ehn? first Obaseki can't do what he tried with APC with PDP, he must carried all the stakeholders along, he must settle some PDP bigwig among others

Na debt Edo people dey play with because there would be no one to sponsored Obaseki rather from his pocket unlike POI that will get federal govt financial and manpower plus political support

I'm not a fan of these politicians but I think Edo people should tried POI first and if he did badly then send him off but you don't know what a man had to offer if you don't give him the chance, I watched his manifestoes SIMPLE and I felt Edo should ignore his party and reason him as an individual

what's Obaseki achievement so far in Edo state?

And so does what? Are you ok? Does the appointment now strip him of Edo citizenship and his electoral and civic rights? Listen, the question should be why is Obaseki borrowing 20 billion? Is it true or not[/s]

Did you question Osinbajo's Tradermoni before the 2019 presidential and the gubernatorial in Osun and Ekiti?

Or is your patriotism selective?

Do you think we are not aware of the mass mobilization that is going on in the Niger Delta creeks, as well as the huge funds being pumped in from Lagos, all for the Edo election by APC Politicians?

The truth is that even if Obaseki loses, that is his headache, but truth is truth.

My brother, you didn't need to cancel my posts.am not saying apc do not borrow close to the elections.all am saying that it is another veiled sign that he will surely lose because the senate won't allow him borrow unless he was in apc.he won't have funds to prosecute the polls

Where's central park??

Where's industrial park?

Where's emotan garden?

Where's the new propose city in Edo south?

Your only achievement in office is celebrating painting of Secretariat building and stadium despite billions we received monthly?.

He has visible infrastructural projects in edo state. Roads, the secretariat he fixed was abandoned and not completed which he fixed and constructed additional structures and renovated the old ones. Am not an Apc or Pdp member but let’s say the truth.
Gelegele sea port is been hampered by fed govt
Central Park is under construction, and many other construction ongoing. Theees a power line been drawn on sapele road to give govt offices and courts and govt house 24hrs power supply via an independent power plant at ologbo run by npdc.
I hope I tried to explain a little

Exactly, the country is in disarray....the same two people that jumped from APC to PDP and PDP to APC.....
Edo people should have protested, but the fight now is to eradicated, close the era of God father played in the grass root politics and equally open the eyes of our Politicians to seek for the support of the masses.....

A case study of Dr Ngige in Anambra State as a Governor then, his fight against God fathers in Anambra brought fought the giant outcome Anambra people are enjoying today,....

So let Edo not be Lagos , so that the cycle will be cut off for the masses to benefit

When peter obi left, didn't he impose obiano and is obiano not planning same? The cycle of godfathers will never end mr

Tinubu supporters has been reduced to

1) Creating unexisting content

2) Inviting people to come and discuss

And mynd44 their oga would push anything on FP.

I checked and see nowhere Obaseki requested for loan

Waste of time to those contributing to the thread

I strongly believed that there is a structured plan on Nairaland to favour anti Obaseki posts hitting front page And content rebranded over and over again to wear down Obaseki supporters

I advise that objective people should also think of how to use their valuable times

It will shock you to know that people get paid to keep you insulted and dragged on social media just to discourage and sap you out of strength

Just let go some post. They aren't worth your time.

Only God knows if Edo state will be able to recover from the debt mess that Obaseki has plunged the state into. He disappointed the people with his all round failure. Shocking for someone touted for his financial background which made Oshiomhole import him from Lagos. Ize Iyamu will have so much cleaning up to do.
Ize Iyamu will do the cleaning in his kitchen...

Lol.... Politics made in Nigeria.
Proposed 20B loan, yet no document or memo to back up the claim. And my brothers are already hyperventilating to quickly sell their parochial views; just like they did in 2015 and 2019, and would still most likely do in 2023; and sadly too, against REASON.
Shame on all of us!!!

What concerns EDO with what they are doing in KOGI? If the people of Kogi are silent about mismanagement of their resources, who will bear the ultimate brunt of it? Of course, the indigenes, so why would an Edo guy be protesting over issues not directly concerning him?
Secondly, that the people of KOGI remain silent over their case doesn't mean the EDO people should do as much. After all, the indigenes are the ones who will be at the recieving end of whatever action or inaction they take in respect to the decisions their government is taking. So, if they feel they can't allow thrash, they surely have a right to complain.
Besides, asking Edo to do the same thing as the Kogi residents is unnecessary and inconsiderate; let's call a spade a spade.

Yahaya Bello borrowed some weeks to Kogi election and APC gave him all the support, those who complained were called names and the Federal government justified all that Bello did; if Obaseki is still in APC will you condemn his action? mind you, if you didn't condemn Bello, you have no moral right to condemn Obaseki. Let us do away with sentiment cos APC and PDP are the same. where was Obaseki in the first gubernatorial election and where was PST, but today they have succeeded in decieving many people and the masses still won't think, thank you.

Oshiomhole borrowed billions from the stock market and lavished the money and nobody made a show of it.
Obaseki is borrowing to assuage the financial trauma created as a result of the CORONAVIRUS Pandemic lockdown, people are reading negative meanings to it.
You will all fail in your attempts to pull our able Governor Obaseki down.

You are not getting me.am not condemning for borrowing since it is a normal thing for governors looking for 2nd term.am only saying that it is another sign that shows that he will surely lose.same thing happened to ex governor wada in 2015.before the election,he tried to get Paris club funds and failed.he applied for loan and failed.he lost the elections and the money was given after the polls.same thing will happen to obaseki.they will deny him the loan,he will be cash strapped.many of his agents and warlords will betray him, many voters will be bought over.the only thing he can do is if he is borrowing it domestically or he has to dip his hands into state funds meaning he will owe salaries and lose like fayose candidate
