Please what are the mandatory car documents to have when getting a new car as a first time
And what are the cost if possible

I would advice you contact Pattybf here on Nairaland. She would hook you up with all required documents for the car.

They include asides the custom import papers handed over to you on car purchase

Vehicle licence
Road worthiness
Insurance

I assume you already have your drivers licence? wink

Last time I registered a car afresh, it cost me about 35k. Not sure what it cost now but it cant be far from that amount give or take.
