The current structure does not at all. For example Akwa ibom, rivers, Delta, bayelsa and imo have enough gas reserves to give their states atleast 20hours electricity a day in every LGA but that's not possible because they all have to send it to the national grid first before it comes back to them in insufficient quantities, yet one clown will be asking me jamb questions.

Remember that what is being stated here is the average, so while Abuja has lots of billionaires who live there, their own bloated figures will rub off on the city thus giving a wrong impression. Those living in Maitama and a few other highbrow areas of the city and the real estate infrastructures there may be responsible for 90% of Abuja figures, even though they may constitute only 10% of total population/area. In essence, it doesn't mean that most people in Abuja are rich.

Yea, but those emeka shops provide income and employment for thousands of families. Whereas the impact of the oil company is never felt. Not by anyone. Only the government has access to the money, and in most cases, they squander it, on projects that don't have lasting effects on the people.

You don't even understand economics - so why talk about it at all. When evaluating the wealth/living standards of any economic center/enclave. There are a number of indices one must look at. Such as GDP, Per Capita, Wealth disparity (co-efficiency rating), Water access, Mortality rate, Life expectancy, Disposable income, Drug(s) access, etc.

You don't just look at one thing, and conclude that you're doing better.
