I also want to use this opportunity to beg the Hungarian scientist not to let this fish near Nigerian shores ooo! Before it'll end up in front page of Nairaland.

Why call them useless? undecided
The Nigerian education sector is the definition of useless.
Ignorant minds like you are the reason why this country keeps moving back. Typical African mentality. Other countries are breaking grounds and you're here calling them useless.
But have you lived in other countries before?
Many of the things they do is because they learnt it school and had the laboratory with full set of working equipment to start off.
All the physics I did in school, they never showed us a lens, convex or concave. I mistaken came across my dad's old photo projector and breaking it apart, I saw a lens for the first time and did experiment wth it.
They don't sell lense in the market. So where is one supposed to see and use lense? Yet millions of people in Nigeria ALL did physics' and other such without ever touching any equipment.

In italy, they were saving a large whale yesterday from a trap.

These ones are doing experiment on top fish peppersoup. Worrying themselves about species preservation.

While in Nigeria, people are just looking for food to eat.

I've read your argument in this thread and your logic aligns with curiosity , innovation and solution finding. The three phenomena in the preceding sentence are the Hallmark of capitalism.

What makes you think that as an aspiring computer science genius you will be able to get enough funding for your breakthrough in a communist economy if your focus varies with the goal of your society. As a leftist, do you not think that communism contravenes the freedom and liberty that comes with the free society of liberalism?
To answer the first, it's just like the Soviet Union that launched the first man into space, that breakthrough obviously was funded by the socialist government of Russia. I believe that if the government wants progress they will be willing to give funding to anyone that has a dream to launch their country into the future.
To answer the second, no I don't think so.

You can't get communism without going through socialism.
And they are both ideologies that have killed millions under the guise of compassion and a utopia.
Has capitalism not killed millions too? Forget the media and it's propaganda, the wide gap between the rich and the poor today stinks, no job security, low pays and long deadly hours. I don't subscribe to socialism though (even if it should happen not under a totalitarian government or a dictator) , because I believe we can find something else that works apart from it, why

I understand sha. It's painful. The thing dey vex me too. I don't know for other African countries but for Nigeria, our problem is corruption. Ok let's say we are ready to do something and we have the brain but let the govt release the money u will b hearing stories. I tire jare.
That is why the fascist system must fall first.

Computer science is more than writing softwares for laptops or creating an operating system. The super computers which are in the service of well funded pharmaceuticals are responsible for the speedy development of vaccines in this epoch. It combines and enables the permutation of alternatives in seconds.

Yes it has and it didn't try to hide under compassion nor does it promise a perfect society.
And in practice capitalistic countries are the most advanced and successful countries in the world right now. Even China a "communist" country now practices state capitalism.

I'm mostly in favour of capitalism, with worker's rights and unions. It allows for the creation of competitive enterprise, and the workers have the right to demand for better pay and working conditions.

Communism for example goes against our very human nature. No ownership of property, no incentive to compete, because everyone gets the same pay no matter how hard you work. Which just causes incompetence and corruption.

And there is democratic socialism, Europe's balance between capitalism and socialism. Which kinda works for them in their smaller countries.

Maybe in the future we figure out a better system.

Who said everyone gets the same pay no matter how you work? Of course there would be policies to stop that, I too believe that he who works should eat, and workers rights too exists under communism and socialism. Yes, I know countries practicing capitalism have gone far but the masses are still suffering from exploitment. Yes, it boosts competition which forces companies to produce at their best, but still this is what brings in the same corruption and some kind of funny trash you are afraid of, take Bill Gates for example, do you know why a large amount of developers hate using any Microsoft product, because of his greed. They want to establish a monopoly over the tech world which is unfair, they always push smaller companies to the wall then buy them off, it's unfair. I've heard of employee owned companies which is indeed a good step to ending mass exploitation but in hard times these companies are snuffed out because the government only cares about their capitalist friends who pump them fat. Nigeria is just a big different case, we need cleansing self because socialism won't work with the current filth in government.

It's not like that sir
Americans and Russians are still the same (same specie, if I may) but those fish are grouped as different specie, so that was why they where surprised that a new specie was formed. They are even grouped as different genus, order and family but only found in same class. That is just too far for them to be able to reproduce.
Taxonomy is still made by man, and so still prone to error anyway
