Udom Emmanuel is boosting state economy with roads construction’

The commitment of Governor Udom Emmanuel in enhancing economic activities through the construction of economically viable roads, is demonstrated in the ongoing road projects across the state, including the 23.4km Eket-Etinan Road. The Commissioner for Information, Sir Charles Udoh stated this while leading the State Government Information Management Team on tour of government projects along the Etinan-Eket axis, including the 23.4km Eket-Etinan Road.

Sir Charles Udoh said, the Eket – Etinan Road which work is experiencing steady progress, will boost economic activities as goods and services especially agricultural produce will be easily evacuated from that axis while road users and motorists will have free flow of traffic with the well paved road. He expressed satisfaction with the level of work, assuring that, although the current global recession has hampered a lot of activities, Governor Udom Emmanuel in his creative and proactive leadership style, will ensure the completion of the road project on record time for the benefit of the people. Some users of the road who spoke with the media team, expressed appreciation to Governor Udom Emmanuel for the road project which has opened access and easy linkages to Etinan, Nsit Ibom, Nsit Ubium and Eket

The 23. 4Km Eket – Etinan road is an extension of the 20km Uyo – Etinan Road which is part of efforts by Governor Emmanuel at connecting all parts of the state with good network of roads including dual carriage ways. The team continues the on-the-spot inspection tour of government projects as part of measure towards heightening publicity and awareness on the life touching projects of Governor Udom Emmanuel within his 5 years administration.

Or your just one hell of a keyboard warrior ...
Delta state currently earn more allocation than AKS ..why don't they compete with AKS or dubai?

People would be blind to what's happening in Akwa Ibom, from Akpabio to Udom. It's all about laying down solid infrastructure in critical sectors of economic development.

This is the same template in Lagos. I'd not be surprised if Akwa Ibom becomes the richest State in Nigeria by 2030. Though Lagos houses biggest tech gurus and professionals on the continent and it's very peaceful.

However, if Akwa Ibom can sustain this mindset, having another gov for 8yrs after Udom, the State would give Lagos a hot chase.

You have a low taste or you are semi-illiterate. Please how much do your state get every month? Did you get paid to say all this gibberish or you are just so foolish? Please did he used his money to build the road? Even Abacha constructed lots of roads.

Igbo land need his type, thank God for engr David Umahi of Ebonyi state though we need more of action governors in town.

In Anambra state that I'm typing from nothing is happening except lies of obiano ghost photoshopped project flying around the net.

All Ngige and Peter obi's roads are now full of portholes as nobody patches them as they deepens daily.

All the people that collect stipend and praise do nothing governors need to be dealth with so that our land can improve as wicked leaders rely on them and do nothing in reality.

You need to note that the following are required for a long term development of any nation;

1. Peaceful atmosphere
2. Justice system
3. Leaders with vision and high tastes
4. Education
5. Infrastructure

Akwa Ibom has been consistent with all except No 2 which is FG failure. Tourism is one area of economy that States are not looking into, AKS is doing that perfectly. Their airline would compliment this largely.

Just to mention few, AKS has world standard stadia, sport facilities, industrial revolution, agriculture, quality roads that would aid transportation, auto and several other industries that would serve entire western Africa. All these are not obvious because they're just starting.

All AKS needs to do now is to invest massively into international propaganda and image branding, and also block all sources of negative news on AKS. They need to partner with big media both national and international to synchronize with her vision. This State is getting it, and must get all necessary supports she needs

If Lagos is the benchmark for development in Nigeria then we still have a long way to go

Yes, we have a long way to go but Lagos gets it right in term of visionary leaders. You don't expect Lagos to become New York City over night, our income generation needs massive expansion which is consistent with what Lagos and Akwa Ibom States are doing currently.

There are a lot of infrastructure gaps that need to be bridged. Don't forget FG needs to assistant Inner States from Oyo, Kogi, Bornu, Enugu, Kano etc to attract industries and workforce to discongest Lagos population. All these require patience and visions.

Nigeria must try as much as possible avoid distractions like what Kanu is doing. To a large extend, Nigeria is structure such that State govts are capable of attracting foreign investments, drive innovations, research and development among others.

Calling for break up of the nation is unnecessary and would set things back once more. The best thing activists and politicians should do is to demand for total resources control by negotiations and not by spreading hates

Umahi is also one of the best gov we have in Nigeria today, he's doing great with little resources. He has the capacity to lead this nation, he seems balance and emotionally matured. You guys know little about governance, Obiano is ok. The entire country needs image branding, stop bad mouthing good leaders

The lunatic you are quoting is paid by the likes of Pachukwuddie77 to promote the image of disasters like Ikpeazu Ugwuanyi Umahi n Co then rubbish everyone else.

Can anyone compare the achievements of Udom to Umahi ? If you can't why is there so much noise about the 3 or 4 from Umahi ? Did Umahi even perform to Ganduje standard ? I was in Ebonyi before lockdown and the state is still a disaster till date but this fools congregate to fool foolish people on NL.

For me he is the best governor so far when it comes to infrastructure. The Borno state governor is trying too.
