It is the delight of many today to hear the voice of the sovereign. There be some today, who question whether God is still speaking as He once did to saints old. They want to hear God!
In the text under consideration, Moses went to speak with Him, notice that he went into the Tabernacle of the congregation that he might speak with God. God then, seeing his desire and sacrifice in coming in, in that he separated himself to come then afforded him His presence.
The lesson here is barefaced. Moses' deliberate desire was rewarded, and so it is today that God is willing to speak to and fellowship with those who seek Him. Today, we don't need to go into any Tabernacle to hear from God for the veil is being put away and God is here with us.....

Emmanuel! and He will speak now to you if you will.

Hebrews 1:1-2 says God now speaks to us by Christ Jesus, His only son whom He gave unto us for a propitiation.
God is speaking to you by that still voice in your heart...... don't silence Him!
Jesus says " Come unto me all ye that labour and are heavy ladened and I will give you rest". You have only to respond to his call so that He may continually speak to you. His rest is for those who respond to His call and so is His fellowship.
Who is there that hears His voice now in his heart? who will answer? and who wants to come to Him?.....Jesus is calling!

You may never hear His voice as clearly tomorrow as you do now, why not rise up, leave all behind- Your past, present, fears etc and follow Christ into the future that He holds because there's coming a day when you can't hear Him no more, nonetheless answer.

Today is the day of response to that speaking Voice within, don't silent it! Jesus loves you!
