Nigerian men should begin to do better by looking for a woman with class rather than women who are classless and see a relationship as a job opportunity. There’s nothing wrong with assisting your woman but only when she brings something more than sex to the table.

Most of these ladies have chosen to be dumb slay queens who have nothing intelligent to offer in life aside sex and they see relationship as an escape route out of poverty. This abnormal trend wouldn't have become a popular trend, but for the male simpish counterparts.

You're right and you're smart. This happens not only in BF/GF relationships, but in marriages too. Most grown-ass men run-away from intelligent and independent ladies because of insecurities and inferiority complex. They don't want someone who would challenge them. All they want it a lowbudget woman with an IQ which could be taken advantage of.
Although, it isn't bad for the sake of the ego of a man to marry someone you're above in financial capability, experience and intelligence, it's only wrong when it's done for the wrong reason - because of inferiority complex and not wanting to have someone who could challenge your intelligence.

Eventually, most of these men who run from independent women end up with funny dramas and shocks they never bargained for. They would discover that dumb slay queens have more surprises than independent women. It's better to marry an independent, intelligent Chimamanda, than marry a dumb slay queen.

Class and brokenness are not directly related though.

After all, many runs girls are not that broke and earn monthly what you'll be lucky to get as an oil worker.

Go for class, whether broke or not. A classy girl with the right mentality that fits yours may be earning nothing now but could become a world beater with just a few tweaks or time.

Where I come from, relationship is symbiotic, not parasitic.
Relationship is an exchange or sharing. You give what you have to get what she has. Relationship is a profitable investment.
