Former Vice President of the United States of America, and possible Presidential candidate of the Democratic Party, Joe Biden, has disclosed Tuesday that his choice of vice presidential running mate will be revealed next week.

Speaking during a press conference in Wilmington, Delaware, Biden said he will choose a female running mate, and has faced pressure from within the party to choose a woman of color. Asked by CNN whether he will meet in person with candidates for the role, Biden replied, “We’ll see”.
Not too long after winning his party’s nomination, Biden had scheduled the beginning of August to choose a running mate. On Tuesday, he affirmed the selection will take place in the first week of August.
Two of Biden's former primary rivals, California Sen. Kamala Harris and Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren, are said to be under consideration for the Democratic ticket.
Others who have been considered include former Obama national security adviser Susan Rice, Florida Rep. Val Demings, Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms, Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, California Rep. Karen Bass, New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham, Illinois Sen. Tammy Duckworth and Wisconsin Sen. Tammy Baldwin.

Kamala Harris is your best pick. She is intelligent, tough and physically fit too.

The Dems are truly desperate, anything to get the votes of blacks and women. The problem with this style of canvassing, is that you are left with very limited choices, and whomever he picks may not be the best fit for the role of VP over every other person outside the selection criteria.

We talking about the first person in the presidential line of succession who will become president should Biden finally develop Alzheimer's, and these desperados want to narrow down their choices based on nothing else but sentiments.
Anything to get the votes anyway.

But who are they kidding? If they really cared about diversity in the white house, they should have chosen Kamala Harris to be the democratic nominee and Joe Biden as her running mate.

I won't be surprised if he goes for Hillary Clinton.
