You see start making comparison where there is none in the first place grin grin

When an individual creates division based on christ words that do not sit well with you and your religious leaders you and the religious organization you belong will SHUN that person grin grin grin.

The organization you belong disfellowship sexually immoral people amongst you. In reality what is read out to the hearing of all other members is that..... Mr Lakasagba is no longer a Jehovah’s witness grin grin grin

Since that is the case, it is right to say, Mr Lakasagba is no "longer anyone called a brother as mentioned by Paul" that is to say you and your religious organisation have reverted the case of such person back to 1 Corinthians 5:9,10

I wrote to you in my letter not to associate with sexually immoral people— 10 not at all meaning the people of this world who are immoral, or the greedy and swindlers, or idolaters. In that case you would have to leave this world.

Mr Lakasagba is now people of this world aka If they still refuse to listen, tell it to the church; and if they refuse to listen even to the church, treat them as you would a pagan or a tax collector.

How did Jesus treats TAX COLLECTORS and PAGANS? grin grin grin

SHUN THEM ABI? grin grin grin
Achorladey & deception na 5&6.
Matthew 9:11-13, Jesus was there already having dinner when "many tax collector's and sinners came and ate with him and his disciples"
Free food brought the tax collector's and sinners to Matthew's house.
Tax collector's and sinners were NEVER close associates of Jesus Christ.

Did the brother and Father of the prodigal son have close association with him everyday after the prodigal son departed?
Achorladey, will you come to your SENSES?

achorladey:

1. Teaching of Christ ( Acts 1:7)

He said to them: “It does not belong to YOU to get knowledge of the times or seasons

Did you and your religious leaders remain in this teaching?

achorladey:

2. Teaching of Christ 2 John

7 For many deceivers have gone out into the world,+ those not acknowledging Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh.+ This is the deceiver and the antichrist.+ 8 Look out for yourselves, so that you do not lose the things we have worked to produce, but that you may obtain a full reward.

The one who does remain in this teaching is the one who has both the Father and the Son.

You and your religious leaders will shun people all over the world who believed

a. Christ came in the flesh

b. Has both Father and Son
If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not receive him into your homes or say a greeting to him. For the one who says a greeting to him is a sharer in his wicked works.

James 4:4 & 1 John 2:15, JEHOVAH'S servants are NOT close associates of Polytheists whose 3 Gods came in the flesh.
John 20:17, did Jesus worship 3 persons?
achorladey:

You and your likes will keep following people who brings teachings like the below grin grin grin

He said to them: “It does not belong to YOU to get knowledge of the times or seasons
Luke 24:19-27 is in your Bible.
Their fallibility and mistakes about Israel @ Luke 24:21 & Acts 1:6 is the cause of Jesus statement:
He said to them: “It does not belong to YOU to get knowledge of the times or seasons.

It is well noted in the gospels that he associated freely with "tax collectors and sinners." Why?
Secondly the Parable of The Good Samaritan should suffice to help you.
How do you read it when he says, then, "a despised Samaritan" came along. . . ?
Jesus Christ and tax collector's were NEVER his close associates.
Did the brother and Father of the prodigal son "associated freely" when the boy had not come to his senses?
Matthew 9:1-13, free food brought them into close contact,to the dismay of the Pharisees.

Does the fact that we eat at the same restaurant mean we are close associates?

John 15:15, Someone taught Jesus.
Acts 2:42,44, those Jesus taught, also taught others.
Acts 15:14-18, Acts 3:13, they are JEHOVAH'S servants.
Hebrews 13:7,17, DeepSight, please come and learn from Jehovah's servants.

He doesn't know the meaning of humility!

Jesus preached and taught as someone having authority not like the Scribes in the first century! Matthew 7:28-29

So what makes Jesus' teachings unique?
Well he doesn't give more than two options so it's either you're with him or against him unlike the religious title chiefs of the first century who will give their listeners several options in the public (you can go to any Bible living Church) Jesus will emphatically say you must follow him (it's either you're one of Jehovah's Witnesses or not a worshiper of our God)

Perhaps that makes Jesus not a humble person himself! grin

The only problem with this is your presumption that in order to follow him, one must be a JW.
The parable of the Good Samaritan debunks this.
Remember the context -

One day an expert in religious law stood up to test Jesus by asking him this question: “Teacher, what should I do to inherit eternal life?”
So it should be noted that the parable was given within a context of salvation – namely that which would be required for one to be accepted with God.
Jesus replied, “What does the law of Moses say? How do you read it?”
The man answered, “‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your strength, and all your mind.’ And, ‘Love your neighbour as yourself.’” “Right!” Jesus told him. “Do this and you will live!”

The man wanted to justify his actions, so he asked Jesus, “And who is my neighbour?”
Jesus then replied with a story.....

The first question is what does JWs mean?
Isaiah 43:10,21 (ASV) - Jehovah's chosen servants- the worshippers of JEHOVAH God.

John 20:17 , John 9:4 and Acts 15:14-18, the God of JWs is the God of Jesus Christ.

Did Jesus worship 3 persons?
No, not at all !

Are you worshipping Jehovah the God and Father of Jesus Christ?

This illustration is talking about how Jehovah's Witnesses LOVE their neighbours!

Your religious leaders have robbed you off lots of valuables, they have enriched themselves with your tithes and offerings, their counterparts see you and walk away looking for their own mugus. All these are people you guys do revere as men of God and they keep lying to you that you must pay tenth part of your earnings, first salary of the year and other possessions making life miserable for billions. But the Jehovah's Witnesses (those you people despise so much) will come to your homes and begin taking care of your emotional wounds, they're prepared to give you Bibles and other information materials FREELY, they are prepared to continue visiting you IN YOUR HOMES where your Yahoo big boys never knew nor care.

Surely they have proved to be your neighbour, but when it comes to their own brothers who have been baptized in the name of our God, His Son and His active force. We LOVE one another just as Jesus loves us. Meaning JWs are prepared to die for one another when the need arises! John 13:34-35

So you can't expect your neighbour to love you the same way Jesus loves NO! He can only love you as he does himself. Remember Jesus deprived himself of somethings but he never deprived his disciples of anything even when it has to do with his own life. That's what it means to love someone as yourself {Mark 12:31} which totally differ from loving someone as Jesus loves his disciples! John 13:34-35

May you have PEACE! smiley

That's why you need to study the Bible well because even Jesus was not mention prior to his coming, it was prophecies about the Christ he fulfilled that made him qualified to be the Christ. For instance a Jew can argue from now till eternity that Jesus is not the Christ because there was no prophecy that specifically mention the name "JESUS" rather what Isaiah penned down is "Emmanuel"! Isaiah 7:14
So if it's about mentioning of specific name then Jesus couldn't have qualified to be called the Christ!

If you've never been to any other religion apart from JWs what exactly makes you feel God's people are wrong in any way since you never attended the churches of Christendom? cheesy
Next time just say you're an Apostate instead of arguing aimlessly claiming you're agnostic.
Thanks for your time, if you are truly an exJW you should know that it's wrong for a JW to chat with you. Romans 16:17; 2John 10-11
So goodbye! smiley

Just as anybody from any nation is acceptable among Jehovah's Witnesses as long as the person is prepared to fear our God and obey the rules binding us together as one.
That's the PRACTICAL APPLICATION of what you're reading! smiley

This is nothing but cultist exclusivist fanaticism.

You're a liar!

And you know this how?

If you've never been to any other religion apart from JWs what exactly makes you feel God's people are wrong in any way since you never attended the churches of Christendom? cheesy

Looks like you have difficulties reading or might be semi-literate, because I did not say any of the foregoing.

Next time just say you're an Apostate instead of arguing aimlessly claiming you're agnostic.

This is just evidence that you are enslaved by an exclusivist cult.
Take good care, and wake up one day.
Good luck.

On point. In fact, he says that many will think they are his servants, even haven cast out demons in his name, and he will say, depart from me, I know ye not. This should serve as a warning to JW and all those others who smugly insist that its them and no one else.

Someone told me when they are preaching about events concerning the last days and are reading Matthew 24, they don't want to read Matthew 24:5 grin grin grin

For many will come on the basis of my name, saying, ‘I am the Christ(one who is anointed),’ and will mislead many..........

Who is telling members of Jehovah's witnesses today and the whole world that look we are anointed and you need to accept we are ANOINTED and trust and listen to our instructions and directions that are not strategic from human point of view as Guardians of Our Doctrines aka GOD?

Is it not the Governing Body of their religious organisation?

They even went as far as saying doing anything outside their man-made(according to MaxInDHouse) organization will lead to everlasting destruction.

Dear brothers and sisters,
Though the GB has ordered us not to engage Apostates due to the way these despicable elements always argue fruitlessly, their intention is to make the audience go astray not to direct whoever listens to them to a specific profitable end.
Though before my baptism as a witness i often had certain doubts regarding the directives from this body, but what suppressed the doubt is the fact that there is no other group that's meeting up with my expectations as per making peace without the use of force, weapons nor casualties.
In the army our goal to make peace largely depends on how far we're able to force the opposition to surrender (drop their weapons) so when i first hard of "soldiers of Christ" i was amazed because Jesus never used force in achieving his goal as the Prince of Peace {Isaiah 9:6} so i kept wondering "where are these soldiers and what type of weapons are they using to appease their adversaries to surrender? undecided
As a Muslim i always see Christianity as groups of idiots who don't know what they're doing, but when i came in contact with Jehovah's Witnesses i was deeply touched by the way they catch and disarm their enemies, so i asked myself "could this be the real soldiers of Christ?"
because they will never raise a weapon yet they're conquering millions from different races and tongues under the heavens, and not only that but making their captives fellow soldiers of PEACE.
So my aim is to find a better performing group of so called Christians who can at least achieve 20% of what this group has done so far. But all i see is critics claiming Christians without any specific motive of achieving PEACE.
The Apostates are former members of this group who are bent on discrediting the GB with the aim of making their peace loving followers turn away from following them. OK if one is saying the members following them should disperse please to what other group and for what purpose? smiley
So i'm using this medium to say that i for one am now convinced beyond all reasonable doubt that whatever this GB says is coming from the Prince of Peace himself. They said Apostates are useless and hopeless but then i doubted that idea, now let any Apostate direct, point, show, say, mention any other better performing group than JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES otherwise.
Let us shun them completely just as the GB has ordered.
See you when all workers of iniquity are gone for good!

You brother Maximus smiley

He will be inching to call you APOSTATES but since you told him earlier about your stance he finds it difficult to pull the apostate trigger. Na their mode of operation.
