You sir are the most informed and most rational individual grazing this topic. I'm a Believer in Christ but never a churchgoer. And my disbelief about Covid19 being a "pandemic" isn't based off of what these so called men of God have been uttering.

*Is there a flu infection? Yes

*Is it lethal? NO! Not unless you have:-
1. Poor hygiene and nutrition
2. An underlying health condition e.g cancer, diabetes, HIV etc
3. You're an elderly citizen.

*Is it politically and economically motivated?

NDDC and the masses are clueless as to the rate of spread and infections we currently have today but from observation African continent seem to have low death rate and alot of people seem to be asymptomatic and just suffer light fever, cough and headache. Suggestion could be that it could be
1. Young population in Africa
2. Natural immunization e.g Malaria and some illness could have created the immunity.
Till Today, there is no explanation why Africa has different reaction to COVID-19 but it doesn't justify the statament "COVID-19 is not real". Perhaps if Africa has heavy medical research facility, we could have conducted our own research and find out things for our self and who knows we could discover something amazing which others wouldn't but sadly we don't.

I contacted the virus and survived it without any other drugs rather than malaria drugs.
How come my kids didn't get it though the show symptoms of malaria which I treated them and they all recovered.
I believe the virus is within us but it's not a deadly disease as claimed.

We have been told that there's mild, moderate and the virulent types. Most people here have the mild version which in the worst scenario may look like malaria. Some people have no symptoms at all and don't have to treat anything. The challenge is that they can easily infect others who may take it badly due to low immunity or underlying illnesses.

Apart from that, we're a praying nation like most African countries. God probably just answered our prayers knowing that we have no capacity to deal with it on our own.

I understand, many dead people had corona virus, it didn't mean corona virus killed them but many died been infected with it, so as facilities responsible for testing patients says.
Corona virus has a spread rate of 1:8 meaning if a person contract it he is likely to infect 8 other people, so it is very clear so many people are infected with it. Corona virus is also known to become fatal when a patient immune system is weakened already, so it could be a contributing factor to people dying.
It has also overwhelm the medical facilities, so keeping up with health profile of other disease may be extremely difficult especially for developing country with poor medical record facilities. So that could be a plausible explanation why cases of other flu are not well recorded.
