Does The UK Prefer To Employ Immigrants? by JB789: 1:03pm On Aug 03, 2020
I was reading about the new UK 'Health and Care Visa' and I saw this quote:

"Ministers say immigration can't solve the care sector's problems which, they argue, are down to poor pay and career prospects - making the job unattractive to British workers who could be capable of filling the roles."

It got me wondering: "Could it be that immigrants accept lower pay for jobs in the UK in which UK citizens and residents have rejected because of poor pay? Do they recruit immigrants so they could pay them lower wages? Are the jobs available to immigrants only because UK citizens don't want them because of working conditions?"

Please Nairalanders, I need your input because I'm considering migrating to the UK under the new Health and Care Visa policy effective January 1, 2021!

It's simple...1)Medical education is very expensive abroad, cos of this, they av few people in that profession.

Here, it's subsidized.

2) U'll find out that most of the citizens in developed countries do not like studying to the level of higher institution, cos dey believe there are many unprofessional jobs out there, so y sud they waste their time?. As a result of this, there are little citizens in those professional fields.

No fret, apply and leave the sh*thole, expecting development and comfort from a country ruled only by people with "dark triad" is like expecting rapture to happen soon. I wish u the best.
