Going to bank at that time by Muslims is not compulsory. There are other ample times Muslims can go to bank and do their transaction on Fridays other than 12noon or at a time not conflicting with the Fridays' prayers time.
Should any bank in the country makes it that the only time for Bank transactions on Fridays is 12noon and that no other time will be allowed after that, just like fixing WAEC papers at such odd times to the Muslims students, definitely Muslim community in the country will protest against that. However, as it is now, we have no problem with banks transacting at 12noon on Fridays or any government business going on at that time. Besides, should any Christian or person go to an office overseen by a Muslim at that time, he or she have to wait till the officer return from his Friday's service.
Secondly, Muslims are not saying WAEC should not fix papers on Fridays at 12noon for Christians students, but that they should fix different time for Muslim students because any time between 12:30 - 2:30 conflicts with our constitutional rights to religious practice without hindrance or obstacle. Why is it so difficult for WAEC to respect this simple arrangement?
Think about WAEC fixing papers on Sundays at times in odd with your Sunday services.
