Automation is defined by the Automation Federation as "the creation and application of technology to monitor and control the production and delivery of products and services".
Wherever automation is required, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) are best suited to meet the task.
PLC can be refered to as an industrial computer used to automate industrial processes such as a manufacturing plant’s assembly line, waste water treatment plant etc.
Basically, PLC consists of the following modules:
1. Input module: It connects all the input devices (sensors) to the PLC.
2. CPU module: It contains a microprocessor, memory and other integrated circuit that are used to execute the control program, store logic data, and communicate to external devices.
3. Output module: This is the interface where the PLC transfer it's electrical control signal to the output devices (lamps, alarms and actuators).
4. Power supply module: It does the work of providing rectified, regulated and filtered electrical power for the operation of the PLC.

Thank you for your interest in our training.
The training has two major parts:
1. Wiring
2. Programming.

The training can hold online but you will need like one or two days at our training centre to have a hands-on experience on the devices.
For example, if you learn the programming part online, it will be good you connect your laptop to live PLC, download program to it and see how it works. So, out of the 8 days training. try to create at least a day to come to the training centre to balance the wiring and programming which which you would have learnt online.
