I want to order for phone in aliexpress but I'm scared if It will be delivered to me due to this pandemic issues we are currently facing.

I want to know if there is anybody in nairaland who ordered for goods in aliexpress and it was delivered during this pandemic period.

Or is it advisable to do so?

most stores on Aliexpress says "items cannot be ship to Nigeria" and since 5weeks ago, orders even on Aliexpress Standard shipping are stucked at awaiting shipment, meaning all goods to be delivered to Nigeria and others are stucked at the outbound warehouse ready to be shipped but due to coronavirus, its been delayed. Thats why Aliexpress extended the 60 day buyer protection period to 90 days now.
Hoping they will start shipping to Affected countries soon.

All the seller I charted with recently said they can deliver to Nigeria but it's going to take more days than usual due to the pandemic issues.

So what do you suggest? should I go ahead and order or should I relax and wait. I'm not scared of waiting for a couple of months like 2 or 3 but i'm scared of ordering and I will not see what I ordered for.

bros you should be scared during this pandemic. do you have a twitter account? check Aliexpress handle on twitter and see that since 30th June, Aliexpress stopped replying my messages on their DM and i observe they stopped tweeting same Day. Bros see complains and me already ordered since June 21st but from a friend account cos my bank as i discovered, their dollar rate was N445 which made me not to be able to make payment hence me using my friend account who uses 1st bank MasterCard on his Aliexpress. And their dollar rate then was N391 so the next day he accuse me of installing a software to give me access to his account and blocking him. with that allegation, he refuse to see me and even blocked my numbers so i cant call him, while i never had access to his account, not his password i knew so i was blind as regard to my orders. But After 6 weeks now i was able to contact the sellers who confirm my order number as i gave them the order number and the shipping address i used on that friend account and they 1st seller gave me details and the tracking number, second says the order is awaiting shipment ( imagine, since around 27th June dey handed the orders to the various shipping companies) and the third seller up till now did not respond to my message.
Among them, one is the major order i wanted to reach me badly while the rest are minor so i didn't bother about the third seller response.
The issue now is delivery to the destination country as most orders are awaiting shipment.
i will advice you to first let the pandemic issue dies down and international travel commences before making the first risk.
Some people's orders are Four months now and didn't receive their orders and counting on. Check this site https://track24.net/service/aliexp/tracking/#international-comments and see peoples comments first plus their twitter handle before making any decision.

If you observe Aliexpress have extended their buyer protection period to 90 days instead of the 60 days standard because of this pandemic
