If he is this insecure, please run!. A man with a fragile ego will always be self centered. It's not your duty as a woman to massage a man's to make him feel like a man . I heard a woman say "if you are the bread winner ,go out and win the bread and bring to daddy to share. Don't let anyone make you feel you are not virtuous enough just because you refuse to massage their ego. So many Nigerian women have been brainwashed to feel it's their responsibility to drag their men by the hand and spoon feed them with redemption. We must do away with this belief of "struggle love " before we can be appreciated, this life is just one, you don't need to be a door mat before another person knows your worth.

I laughed the day a young man on TV is forum said that he hasn't met any woman who's her family's breadwinner.
I laughed because in at least 40-50%of Nigerian families, women are either co-funding the total gross income or are sole breadwinners for their loved ones.
Just because they don't come out openly (which if they did, they'd still be insulted for trying to shame their husbands) doesn't mean they're not co-ontributors or sole breadwinners.
A lot of young men on this forum are disillusioned to the present day realities of our failing economy. From the ugu seller to the young ceo trying to build her brand, women are actively contributing to the homestead but don't blow their trumpets.

I believe this is true cause even though the man may pay the rent, school feesbor other superficial expenses, women provide for many little things or majour expenses sometimes ranging from food to childrens clothings.
But the problem is not all women have the same money as their husbands, but the ones who have spend a lot on their home
