Volunteer Job Description: Customer Service & Social Media Officer.

Volunteer Reports to: Head of Administration & Webmaster.

Summary: The Customer Service & Social Media Officer will perform a variety of tasks
depending on operational needs in the Valuables You Need for Free Initiative. This will
include answering phones, social media handle management and other operational tasks
as assigned by the Admin officer. This position helps to best manage the
contact/customer relationship in Valuables You Need for Free Initiative and promote a
wholesome image of our organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
•Making and answering phones.
•Data entry and filing.
•Receive and document all donations/valuables.
•Create compelling description of all valuables in preparation for website use.
•Social Media Management. Covering but not limited to WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook,
Twitter and LinkedIn.
•Interact, confirm, document and present right valuables to beneficiaries.
•Other duties specifically around coordination of special events, or as assigned

Must reside in Maryland lagos

•Must be dependable, punctual and always professional in appearance.
•Must be courteous and personable when dealing with everyone.
•Be self-directed, willing to take initiative, and detail-oriented.
•Respect and maintain confidentiality of all volunteers, partners, and donors of Valuables
You Need for Free Initiative.
•Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Photo editing
tools.
•Social media savvy and ability to learn new tools/software applications.
