As the coronavirus lingers on in 2020, most companies in the world felt and are still feeling the heat and not all will survive long enough to tell the tale.

Most companies on this chart have seen their market values drop tremendously from last year and even given up some valuable positions while some are literally having the time of their life. Let’s take a look at Forbes’ Top 100 biggest companies in the world 2020.

Not all companies are being negatively affected by the pandemic, however, The biggest players in e-commerce—including Amazon, Alibaba and Walmart—have all experienced growth thanks to the rise in online shopping. All three moved up on this year’s list.

On the financial front, the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China remained in the top spot for the eighth straight year with more than $4.3 trillion in assets. China’s “big four” state-owned banks all wound up in this year’s top 10. JPMorgan Chase is the largest U.S. company at No.3, falling one spot from last year.

In other bright spots, the largest IPO of 2019, Saudi Aramco, debuted at No. 5 on the list, while Zoom and Slack (which both IPOed last year) have also been instant beneficiaries of the new work-from-home realities. Both companies made an inaugural appearance on the Global 2000—virtually overnight.

That is what strict rules can cause. Chinese kill their politicians for any form of corruption (they mud two guys last month sef) but in naija that is what we celebrate.imagine a representative of a state that can't afford to pay its workers posting expensive cars on twitter, calling them his toys.

I find it hard to deal sometimes.

So no African company made the list, very shameful....anyway, one of these companies alone is bigger than the combined economies of many African countries, so we can understand.
