Getting a job in this 21st century is a job in itself, the labour market is becoming highly competitive by the day, hence only men of skills, competence, capacity and experience really have a chance in today's market place.

But amazingly many jobseekers remain jobless for many years for lack of understanding of the basis in their quest for a job.

WHY DO WE HAVE SO MUCH UNEMPLOYMENT/JOB PROBLEMS IN AFRICA?

Answer: we have so much unemployment because many people, graduate and non graduate don't have the right definition of what a job is.

Having the right definition of a job is the first step to becoming productive/gainfully employed.

A job is not you getting an appointment in a coperate organization for wages and salaries .
No Sir.

What Is A Job ?
A job is a problem to be solved.
A job is a need calling for attention.
A job is a service to be rendered.
A job is an opportunity to explore.
A job is a processed idea.

Every Job and business you see around is a solution to a problem. Every Job is someone's solution to a prevailing problem.

There are problems everywhere particularly in Africa, but amazingly Africans are so fixed in the rat race of earning salary over earning income, begging to apply rather than looking for opportunities to explore for profit.

The places you are begging to apply for a job is owned by someone who at some point in their life choose to take the responsibility to mind their own business.

You are created for a purpose and that purpose is your business on earth.

A bird do not struggle to fly because it is natural for birds to fly.
A fish do not struggle to swim likewise, because it is natural for fishes to swim.

In thesame vein, everyone is created with natural abilities for productivity on earth.
But many fail to realize this fact.

It will interest you to know that salary is the price your employer pay you to forget your dream and vision.
Salary is a good place to start but not the best place to remain.

In this age, there is no longer job security in job security..

A wise man noted "Love your job but don't love your company, because you may not know when your company stops loving you".

Whatever you can see around is designed or created for a specific purpose, so also you have a purpose, and that purpose is tired to your natural abilities.

Your ability to cook good food is your food industry in disguise.
Your ability to sing well is a music industry that will build you unimaginable wealth..
Your passion for acting is your passport to stardom.
Your ability to make people laugh is a comedy industry calling for attention.
The list of Possibilities are endless...

Whatever you can do effortlessly is called fun. Your fund is tied to your fund.

The last letter in FUND is letter 'D' which represent Deep, when you dig deep into your fund (talent) you will surely get to your fund.

Your profit is tired to your passion.
Your passion is your passport to unimaginable wealth awaiting attention for manisfestation.

The problem you are created to solve is your business on earth, but you have never cared to mind your business.
Until you begin to mind your business, nobody will mind you.

Until you give attention to your intentions nobody will give you attention and your world will stand at attention (static)

Many have been intending to start a business.
Many more have been nurturing an idea in their heart..

A Chinese proverb has it that "the best time to plant a tree is 20 years ago, the second best time is now"!

I know you have been looking for capital, but do you know that capital is not necessarily money ?

The greatest capital you need to start a business is not money.
The most required capital you need to start a business is knowledge.
How well do you know about what you intend to start ?

Next, you must be willing to start small.
You must be willing to start in shame and unclothedness.
You must be willing to start from the beginning and not from the middle or towards the ending.
Every great edifice begins from the foundation. Height is determined by depth.
Hence it is useless to begin a building without a solid foundation.

Growth is a mystery that commands mastery but in this part of the world, many people hate growth.

To start big is to fail big time.
A wise man said "when you grow up, you stay up but when you jump up, you will definitely come down"

As Almighty as God is, he started from the beginning.. Genesis 1:1

But you cannot start or succeed in any adventure by just starting..
Else you are setting yourself up for failure.

How Do You Start ?
It's all begins with you discovering yourself.
Knowing who you are.
What you can do.
And the people you are sent to in the midst of the billions of people on earth.

NB: You have a market in the market place, you are not sent to everybody.. in business terminology it is called "Target Market".

There are 3D's in Self discovery
(1) Discover- yourself.
(2) Develop- yourself.
(3) Distribute- yourself.

Getting a job is indeed a job on its own.
Setting out to start a business is a business itself..
