I am 36 years old and yet to learn how to drive. I have never bothered because I have never had recourse to need to. Now I have plans to get my own car and I am thinking should I go learn how to drive first or just wait further till I get my car?
In a city like Lagos which will be advisable?

Well, I know the basics of driving: done some research and even driven a tractor before. Some years ago I attended a one year Agricultural course sponsored by a multinational company, where we were taught several skills including how to drive a tractor, does this count?

Guys and girls what would you advice? When did you even learn how to drive and how did it happen? mods please push to front-page for more comments.

Since you are based in Lagos, You need two skills to be a good driver here in Lagos;
a) Good driving skills.
b) Agbero skills.

I promise you without the second skill, Danfo drivers will drive you nuts.s angry

How hard is a driving school? Save your 5 - 14K and register for a roadside one. Your query is an unnecessary JAMB question. I went to driving school twice only to learn that I hate the activity. No time.

Started driving last year December, It was a gradual process though. I went to a driving school for two weeks n kicked off from there. Today am doing great in that aspect, though am a commercial driver. Just Conquer any form of fear and understand that practice makes perfect, the more you get behind the wheels, the more u become better. All the best!

Well for me I didn't learn via driving school. I learnt when I got my first car(an auto transmission). There is this thing about what you bought for yourself. You will surely master your car when u have gotten it. Reversing was what I had to master and with time I did. Just be confident and it will flow easily. I would also advise you get a saloon car first before upgrading to an SUV.
