The speed at which Ganduje removed Sanusi showed that the Ooni or Alaafin or Oba of Benin can be removed by their respective governors with impunity. You deserve a Nobel prize for this truth. As a child, I read Chinua Achebe with passion. He was clear that unlike other Nigerian tribes, Igbos have no royalty. Each family had a family head, Eze. No kingdoms and empires like Benin Kingdom or Oyo Empire. Today, every 1000square meters is an autonomous kingdom with toothless Eze.
