A virus infected my external 60GB harddrive and i tried formattting it. while it was formatting, PHCN struck and my PC went off. When power was restored, i tried formatting again but got an error message that my disk could not be formatted. I tried using CMD for the format but it did not word. Tried Disk Management in the Administrative tools but no show. It was then that i discovered that the Disk was now in a "RAW" format instead of "NTFS". I retried formatting with all the aforemention steps but the damn thing wont format. I even tried to run CHKDSK on the drive but got an error message that chkdsk can be done on RAW Drives. Pls does anybody here have a solution to this bug?  |
