There are not more than five U.S. companies worth $500 Billion, with only ten U.S. companies worth $300 or more as of 7/21/20. It’s funny folks single out $2 Trillion and try to make it represent the whole country, or scream Tesla and try to make it represent a whole sector. NASDAQ’s AAPL is not the first company to cross $lthe hypothetical $1 Trillion or 2 $Trillion mark. We are just better at hyping up our image to make it seem like what other people think it looks like.

I initially wanted to break down the statistics much more but later opted against it. There are some key types of stock investment. The 401k and many other forms in the U.S. can make things not as strictly defined as you would imagine.
