I want to ask, I have been seeing your posts steadily. Is their any option for land lease for a period of 5 years in the plantain estate to plant and possibly buy it in the future as one makes profit? Just asking.

Secondly, what's the guarantee for the land not having issues in years to come for one that is not from the Yoruba tribe? U know as these things are.

Many years ago,my real challenge was accessing good market for what myself and the team were producing on the farm.

6 years ago,we broke through with our network of buyers across all the food products we produce on the farm.

Now,i believe what we cultivate in our various farm estates are far lesser than the demand we currently have.

This is what I learnt during those years we were trying to find our feet getting sales

1. Create and build relationship with as many buyers as possible (e get why)

2. If you have large acreage of crops to be harvested, keep in touch weeks or months ahead with your buyers

3. Locations matters
cultivate crops in areas where you have demands.
You can't just cultivate any crops in any farm location.
The importance of being at the right location cannot be over-emphasize.

Our farm estates at ilorin, ogbomoso, ijebu-igbo are still open to agric investors/farmers who want to own their farm business.
You don't have to worry about where to sell your produce..... market is guaranteed for all of those on our farm estates.

With all of thine money, have knowledge
Knowledge is the gap between success and failure, between you not losing money and actually losing money.
Without knowledge, you are not going to see returns in your investment
Seeking for knowledge bring collaboration with others
The more you learn, the higher your potential of earning
Knowledge is key.

I have seen many people who want to invest big into agriculture but they don't have the finances to carry out the required farm operations from the beginning to the end

Many years ago,I made the same mistake.
I wanted to invest in corn on about 50 Ha of land.

Having done my cost analysis and projections,I discover that the resources I have on ground will be able to finish up to the planting stage.

My thought was that before we get to the planting stage ,I should have mobilise some funds to finish up the project.

Unfortunately,my plan flop and I have to quickly restrategised,if not,i would have incur a huge loss.

I have seen few investors who conduct their farm enterprise on our various farm estates make this same mistake

When you don't have enough resources to finish up your farm operations, you end up wasting the ones you already expended on the project so therefore this is the mistake pit you need to avoid by all means.

Do your cost analysis and make sure you have enough resources to follow it through to the finish line.
