Pastor Chris is really shaping opinions. I like the fact that he has an opinion... same as pastor Oyedepo... many don't because we care too much what people think or how we are perceived.
Recently the word 'brown' is used increasingly. Even melanin means 'darker brown', so such conversation is justifiable on the basis. Also, his conspiracies on the pandemic are not watery at all. Perhaps reckless and dangerous, and perhaps some could see it as a means to his own end, but he seemed too as someone who had the courage of a church, and represented the church as a place of deliverance, and not a place where death or infirmities can abode. This is important to the faith.


Pastor Adeboye is not known to have opinions. Some have said he is unapologetically misogynist, and he has a definite opinion on raising finance for the church, but this can be argued as biblical as well, however what is biblical is not necessarily christian. One would expect that he uses the energy and his position too, to demand good governance, shape public opinions in terms of domestic violence, and all, like the vanity that is all our purposes, and weigh his influence with the current administration to demand good governance and security of lives. Kaduna comes to mind. It is really painful to see him smiling on a Sunday morning, unbothered about the killings of those of his faith in the north, or those of any other faith. If he had stood with the shiite when the Nigeria military massacred them, if he had asked why lance corporal martins is still being detained, and encouraged the branches of his church to reach out palliatives to those of other faith, when the pandemic was at its prime, he would have enhanced his legacy. But remember Christ is the perspective that should be enhanced.
