It depends
Early years of marriage. Maybe "No" but after many years in marriage, the answer is definitely on the affirmative, infact she is already forgiven before she commit the cheating.
I got more to think about than a cheating or non cheating wife

One worst thing that can happen to a man is getting married to a promiscious woman.
I will just end everything immediately! Such marriage cannever heal again.

That was the part that actually gave it away for me.

If he had stopped at just forgiving her and assuming she has found love, the sarcasm may have flown past me. But the next bit about sponsoring revealed the joke.

I think when it has gotten to the extent you catch your wife red handed cheating on you as man then the initial foundational love has died a natural cause, forgiveness in this instance is inconsequential. Just let her go for the sanity of you both. My opinion tho.

A cheater will always be a cheater. A tiger doesn't change it's cloth

You must forgive for the Law is "What the Lord has joined together..." Unless you are broken by the Lord, you both would be in danger of Adultery!

And in the case of an offending spouse, Aggravated Adultery!

Further, if you want to be forgiven of your own offences, you must forgive!
