The man is Ignorant, he might be a enlightened fellow but when it comes to Tech he might be a total novice otherwise he won't voice out what he voiced out. Just mention one successful forum website in the world that is as successful as nairaland. Maybe he want nairaland to have features Twitter and Facebook have or what, I don't really know what else he wants. The only place nairaland got it wrong was in the area of allowing tribal sentiment to dwell on the forum but on the other hand that is a typical Nigeria for You. Nairaland has blessed people, nairaland is to me more beneficial to me than Facebook and Twitter. Let us learn to appreciate our uniqueness and what we have.

Nairaland is the biggest online forum in Nigeria with Million active members both at home and abroad.

Sadly it is the biggest platform where tribalism thrives.

I think Seun can do more to improve this forum which is the best, most popular and most active forum in Nigeria or even Africa.

I think the owner is operating under the fact that you don't fix that which isn't broken, and I agree.


People love familiar spaces.


But I think Nairaland should be upgraded to allow us use various emojis and emoticons from our Android and iPhones.


That's the only change I'd like to see.


Then of course stricter regulation concerning ethno-religious bigotry as well as trolls and unnecessary cancelers.


Then maybe include the ability to be able to upload short videos without links.


Apart from all that, I think Nairaland is fine just the way it is and Mr. Seun has done well.
