A lady called Gloria Ugolee took to Twitter to state that she knew the pilot of the helicopter that crashed in Opebi, Lagos yesterday and that he was not attended to at the hospital because the hospital management demanded for a police report before attending to him.

That story went viral this morning, but the senior special assistant to the Lagos State Governor, Mr Jubril Aremu Gawat, took to Twitter to debunk the story.

Gloria Ugolee subsequently walked back from her earlier claim and said that she was told that he was not attended to but she did not witness it. She also appealed to people not to apportion blames.

Gloria Ugolee subsequently blocked comments on her new post, but people have gone to her old posts to insult her.

The Lady could have wanted to use the news to trend on social media and gain more followers.

Ofcourse it was a huge lie ..That Ugolee woman should be arrested for peddling false hoods .

First she said the pilot dumped fuel to prevent a a fire but that helicopter cannot I repeat doesn't have the ability to dump fuel in flight and secondly she claimed a hospital demanded Police report from which is another Huge lie because Capt Ernest was evacuated by Lasema and nobody will ask Lasema for Police report especially in such a huge case ... the truth is that pilot died at the crash site from the impact and shock of the crash

She was unable to control her emotions, by default she believed the hospital didn't treat his brother.

I knew it was false, because you can’t do that to people brought by government agencies, moreover the stupid police permit is normally asked for during gun wounds.

What hospitals do ask for accident victims most times is deposit and sometimes nurses and doctors are careful till the Hiv status is known.

When I read the news from a licensed news outlet, it was said that the pilot died on spot with his crew, and the passenger was rushed to the hospital, waking up in the morning to see the rumors of neglect flying up and down, I said fake news will drive us crazy in this world.

The lady should be invited for questioning.

You didn't verify, you were not an eye witness and you jumped to Twitter to throw tantrum.
Perhaps the Doctors and Nurses of that Hospital tried everything and run helter sketer to safe the young man but this idiot of a lady jumped to Twitter to start blaming hardworking medical personnel whose sole aim is to try everything to care for patients and leave the rest for God to heal.
Unappreciative people like the idiot are the ones who demoralize hard working people

Hate filled idiotin lady!

Question : Could buhari blame NCAA for complicity to kill by taking bribe after the report showed the copter was not air-worthy, instead of banning the copter from flying 3 years ago?

Answer: I doubt:
Reason: The minister is a fulani man, so is the head of NCAA.

Lagos state hospitals are notoriously know to always reject patients and once such cases are made public they will hastily come up with useless defence.

Similar case came up in the not too distant past when they rejected a dying sick man on the ground that he has Corona.

Very unprofessional bunch all theyare proficient at is money and industrial actions.

The moment I saw the crash pictures and there was no explosion, I knew the aircraft ran out of fuel. There's no way the lady would have known the pilot dumped the fuel.

Are u in Nigeria bro?
Btw it is not only gun wounds because I have being a victim.
It happened I got injured in a bathroom (i slipped) i got stitched by my late sister's husband who was a surgeon. I went back to school after 2weeks it was due to remove the stitches, I called him he said I should go to any hospital that I will be attended to, Note: I couldn't walk properly cause I was in pains the stitches were really due.
I got to a General hospital in gwagwalada (abuja), lo and behold the demanded to see either of this a hospital report or a police report.
My late in law was really mad at whoever told me that.
I later left the hospital and went to a chemist shop.
My brother I was in pains and those doctors didn't give a Bleep.

My only prayer is this "May we never fall victims that requires an emergency treatment because Nigeria will really fail u at that moment".

Only a very few military grade helicopters can dump fuel sef for tactical reasons but this bell 206 can never dump fuel because it doesn't even have that capability .. The chopper ran out of fuel and it's not uncommon for pilots of old bell 206s to miscalculate their fuel load and run out
