you are young but won't remain so forever. know that people who are old and some who have died were once 22, have at the back of your mind that someday your time will come, so live life well.

Think deeply especially about the future, this is the period you should plan your future. remember if you fail to plan early, you plan to fail early.

Quest for knowledge, read books, read history as this will give you the knowledge of men of older generations combining it with the knowledge of your generation, you will be outstanding among your peers and this will also give you foresight, a very necessary attribute for growth and success.

have at the back of your mind that "fools also grow old". it is a norm in our African society to listen and obey all that elders say. but I tell you, elders are not always right, believe in yourself, trust your instincts and follow your heart, Learn from your parents and other people's mistakes, make your own mistakes and correct them, gather experience, you'll need them.

Observe judgements and adapt to positive change. e.g, they the older generation believes men are superior to women, but your generation Comes with equality. be intelligent, never forget that The illiterates of the 21st century are not those who can not read and write but those who is not able to learn, unlearn and relearn new things.

Don't do drugs, Alcohol inclusive it may ruin you. say no to cultism and other social vices. he who lives by the sword, dies by the sword.

never make women or a woman your priority, the women in your generation feel they are entitled to men's money, they are a liability for a young man who wants to grow. yes the cravings for sex will be there but realize that self-control is a gift 98% of your generation peers do not posses. stand out.

if you want to grow, realise that girls/women are only wants, they are not needs, your needs are education, food, shelter and clothing.. if you are not independent enough to get these needs for yourself then forget wants, you'll get your wants when you have your needs.

have an aim, pursue a goal, discover yourself now that you are still young, take positive risks else you'll regret when you get older.

dismiss the get rich quick syndrome, take care to only make money LEGITIMATELY, don't trick people to get favours, don't scam people of their money. yes your mates will be living large and soft lives, trust me illegally gotten money does not last. learn from Hushpuppi's story.

spend more time being productive than on social media. social media is addictive, never let it control you. spend more time reading news, spend time on discovery and reseaching on the internet.

if you are in the University, study hard, it's just 4 - 6 years of study after that you can flex your whole life, the sacrifice is worth it. School is not scam like your mates say, if school was a scam then millions would not be applying for jamb yearly.

You will always enjoy your life later, you still have time, but at 22 never miss that rare opportunity to lay a good foundation for your future. pay now, play later.

be a gentleman, always smile, help people, help make the world a better place and the sky will be your starting point and the ends of space your limit. ♥

Advise about life, adulthood and finance

1.Take personal finance seriously once you start earning money.

2. Seek advice from the wise but have a mind of your own.

You'll thank me later.

22 years old?

Hustle real hard at this age to start a business before 23.

Grow that business at 24

Still keep growing that business. Be innovative about it. Get bored with doing the same thing with it especially when you’re 25

Expand at 26. Maybe at this point you can build a bit of a corporate structure around it.

Keep going. Never forget; keep going with that business. It’s the only identity you’re ever going to have as a man in today’s society. Especially the wealth you can build from it.

I wish I could go back to being 22 so many things I would change, most important is to cast away friends, 70- 80 percent of your decisions at 22 would be based on other people influence eg friends/family/girls
