Nigerian Students And ASUU

ASUU has gone on strike for more than 15 times since 1999. All together they have been on strike for more than three years.

ASUU keeps using one method, the strike method to get the government's to do things. These are people that call themselves professors with Master's degrees and PH.Ds.

Yet they are not intelligent enough to think of other methods of reaching out to the government that won't put students educational future in peril.

But the problem is not ASUU per se. The Nigerian students are a failure to themselves. They prefer to sit at home and make jokes and have fun rather than stand up for their rights.

What does it take for them to speak up against the strike method continuously and continuously.

A simple proposal will be to tell ASUU that instead of going on strikes they should influence the Nigerian budget. The educational section of the Nigerian budget should be influenced to reflect the funds needed by public universities to excel.

There are many other ideas and solutions that could be thought of if Nigerian student can stop posting jokes, playing with their future and focus on building a better life.

But since most people in public universities are from poor families. there's no way they can concentrate on building a better future because poverty is a disease that rubs the mind of common sense.

You were making sense until you put the blames on students. What are they supposed to do? Kidnap Buhari and make him grant ASUU's requests by force or kidnap Prof Ogunyemi and make him change his stance on the strike?
Nonsense.
