Rubbish! China has more than 1 billion people and their economy is growing rapaciously. Even Dubai, produces the same volumes of oil as Nigeria, has turned their country into a paradise, while Nigeria has used its oil money to turn their country into a shiithole. Shameless Biafra cheesy

How many tribes does China has ...tribalism is a big problem my friend...do you think if China has more than 7 different tribes they would achiev that much?

I completely understand why they left but are things looking good for them now? Why go and do business in a hostile environment? If it were other sane countries, they would have given them permanent residency by now not a temporary residency that needs to be renewed every year.

I have since come to the realization that Africans are not kind to fellow Africans and then we wonder why other racial groups treat black people like crap all around the world.
For a better place, they are citizens. Africa is not okay, but for sb not to come back to Naija with all these manufactured obstacles means a lot is poor in Nigeria.

A lot people on this platform just know how to blab, it’s easier to say come back home, like Nigeria is without it’s own issues. Most of these guys have lived there all their life and in saner climes they would have been granted citizenship. However our government should just try to work things out with them. I understand the part where he mentioned canvassing for votes with that strategy, who knows if it will keep lingering.

I don't think these traders have been living there all their lives. If they did, they won't be speaking with a regional Nigerian accent. In addition, they would have had their citizenship by now.

I just don't believe in staying in a place where I am not wanted. Living in a hostile environment is not healthy. Perhaps, these traders can try another country? I don't know. All I know is that it's not worth it to live amongst people who don't like you and want you gone.

But he has a point, there is no place like home even if it doesn't have all the amenities you want.
He has no point, it's only for those with limited ambition
