There is a popular saying in Igbo land that a goat lying down is lying on its skin.
There is also a popular saying that who God has blessed, no one can curse.

It is still FRESH in my mind how other Nigerians scolded and even went as far as mocking the Igbos calling them wailers after 2015 elections.
I for one, wouldn't have minded if such insults never followed the elections. Even some of us that never liked Jonathan were roped into the category of wailers. All it takes is for you to be called an Igbo for people to see you as anti Buhari.

Don't get me wrong, I never liked Jonathan but I never believed Buhari was a a better alternative to Jonathan either. My strong argument then was that there are many good candidates in the north that can be sold to Nigerians. Why Buhari? A man who failed in his military era as a president. A man who have made a lot of violent and controversial comments in the past. A man who him and his supporters sponsored some violent actions just to discredit Jonathan. I will never forget the Nyanya bombing carried out because Jonathan wanted to visit Kano. I will never forget Chibok scams. NEVER

Buhari was declared the winner, there is not all manner of things we never heard. New sherif in town, they must vomit yam and all the nonsense noise. His supporters even turned a blind eye to all his nepotic statements. All manner of excuse. Oil price has fallen etc. Which president in the history of Nigeria has received the number of excuse giving to Buahri?

To the main point how Igbos were favoured. For your own information, many Igbo traders have turned millionairesv under unfortunate government of Buhari. You know how? In the face of infilation, they have been selling their old stocks at exhorbitant prices. I have many around me who I have witnessed. So while you think you were mocking them, you were actually mocking yourself. Today petrol sells for N162 naira. Despite all the debts.
