A friend of mine is recommending me for a loan of 1.2million. the money has no pressure in paying back. Although i intend to pay back in 2yrs.
I want to use this money to secure a job in a very good organization. It's very genuine

I do business, but right now, it's not moving because I don't have enough capital to make it work.

Now, I'm confused. Either to invest the money in my business or give it up for the job.
Matured and well experienced people in the house, pls advise.
The job is very very reliable. My cousin who paid in July has be called and doing documentation now

Even if the job link is not scam, business is far better than sitting in one govt office, doing little or nothing and waiting for salary at the end of the month.

Op, build your business and monitor it with all you've gat. Love your biz. Operate it like your life depends on it! You will succeed!

Invest the money into your business provided the business is viable and not affected by the noble pandemic, try to pay up the loan before the time frame given. but if you still wish to be an employee probably to have multiple streams of income then you can go ahead to pay the said amount required to get the job. but for now please invest the money

I need this advice too. I and OP may well be in the same both right now.

Their is no certain job. Even in Nigeria, government job is not certain.

It just doesn't make any sense that u need to pay such huge amount to secure a job.Also,note that no job in this our country is secured. pls add the money to ur business, at least u will have control over ur business and nurture it to grow,except the business isn't profitable or there are other reasons why u think u shudnt invest in it.
