Well the other way round happened to me. I was in a vehicle with this group of people. And then there's this particular one that has "mouth". A very funny personality actually. We were great friends but he never knew my siblings. So as we were going, my elder brother was on the road trying to get some things fixed. By the time we had drove passed him (of course I didn't wave him cos the vehicle was on a high speed and I never imagined I'd see him there) come and see gossip It happened that this jolly good fellow knew my elder brother and they were acquittances lol. I just maintained as he was trying to gossip my elder brother to me and one other person sitting close to me, telling us every every. I just maintained and laughed .
By the time I got home, I of course told my elder brother what happened. We laughed! And my brother gave his own gist. The guy few years later found out Sha but they're still great friends with my big Bros till tomorrow. In fact closer sef. My brother did not confront him of course as we are matured minded and we already knew the guy (He was a good person though. He just happened to be someone who talks a lot sometimes lol).

Every human being has gossiped at one point in his/her life. The fact that you talk about someone is GOSSIP. Only that it should be fair. If you can ALSO talk about the good sides of the people and not always the bad sides, then you are not a "gossip" per say even though you literally gossiped. So my friend, you are a gossip. We all have gossiped in life at a point. Just the balancing that matters and the need to be less talkative

I detest gossip. I don't say negative things about people in their absence and if you gossip other people to me, you'll only be wasting your time because I'll be giving excuses for every of their faults you're telling me about.

Although unrelated, nothing pisses me off more than someone badmouthing the other party when he/she drops off a call.

When I was much younger, I have run my mouth to a younger sister about her elder one.

However, I have had someone gossip about his EX to me. He didn’t know I talk to her. So, as he sends to my WhatsApp, I will just screenshot and send to her.
