Why Nairaland Will Continue To Blossom, No Matter What You Say About It's Design by Nobody: 5:04am On Sep 12, 2020
Here are the top 5 reasons why Nairaland Will continue to blossom (no matter what you say about it's design).

1. It is dominant cool
Nairaland is one of the most visited websites in Nigeria, It was founded more than a decade ago and has developed a massive userbase. It is the most successful Nigerian online forum ever launched. Other smaller forums with better functionality and integration have risen but just could not amass the userbase required to keep it running.

2. Nigerians just don't care undecided
As long as Nairaland is working, that's enough for most Nigerians. We tend to have this, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" mentality. Nigerians don't care about Nairaland's design even though the last major design update was around 2012/2013 (correct me if I'm wrong).

3. It simple (it loads fast) wink
This is one of Nairaland's pros and Nairaland loads perfect well even with a terrible browser like Internet Explorer and it even works on 2G networks.

4. It's a marketplace for Most Nigerians (and scammers) cheesy
Most Nigerians advertise their business/brand on Nairaland. Although, a lot of scams happen after a particular transaction with a Nairalander.

5. It's a "Quick-read" forum tongue
It is very difficult to find in-depth conversations on Nairaland, that's because most Nigerians are always on the go and do not have time for that. Nairaland is "quick-read" website in the sense that, a lot of visitors just read what they want to read and go. Most people discovered Nairaland through a Google search. That will explain why a lot of Nigerians don't bother to sign up (partially because they see no need to). Unlike Reddit, where deep, meaningful conversation are held based on user's interests, most Nairaland visitors are just here to insult each other and argue about a particular thing, and Nigerians like it that way ? (LOL) grin grin grin grin

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think legit.ng is a news website, not a forum cool
