I don't subscribe to this respect of authority thing.... If Martin Luther King respected authority back then, Afro Caribbean( aka blacks) will not be free by now. If Nelson Mandela respected authority by remaining docile, South Africa will still be under colonialism now....

I keep telling you petra1, we have gone past the era of the law and the prophets. The curtain closed on that era of the law and the prophets, when Moses and Elijah appeared in a vision to Yahshua Ha Mashiach aka Jesus Christ on the Mount of Transfiguration, with the disciples Peter, James and John witnessing the vision. The Gospel heralded in a superior, stronger, better era more powerful than what was operated under the era of the law and the prophets. Ekklesia (i.e. the church) has been blessed with every believer having equal access to the manifested extraordinary spiritual gifts of the Holy Spirit, which are the word of wisdom, the word of knowledge, increased faith, the gifts of healing, the gift of miracles, prophecy, the discernment of spirits, diverse kinds of tongues, interpretation of tongues. Every believer potentially is a prophet/prophetess.
