Corruption And Lack Of Accountability Are Nigeria's Problems -pastor Adeboye by Insidenaija: 2:30pm On Sep 14, 2020
General overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God(RCCG) pastor E. A Adeboye, has said Nigeria as a country has enough money to provide palliatives for every citizen, to crushing the effect of COVID-19 lockdown, but corruption and lack of accountability are the Nation's problems.

The 78-year-old cleric cited church as an example, he said church spend roughly N250m and N400m monthly on corporate social responsibility, adding that government must attend to the demands of the masses.

Adeboye made the disclosure while speaking at the monthly thanksgiving service, titled "Victory over lockdown", at the RCCG Headquarters, Throne of Grace, Ebute-Metta, Lagos State.

Represented by the Assistant General Overseer, Administration and Personnel, Pastor Johnson Odesola, Adeboye said, he was full with thanks to God for intervening in the COVID-19 crisis in the country.

“To say there is not enough money to give juicy palliatives to Nigerians is an understatement because Nigeria has the money. But the problem known to everyone is corruption and lack of accountability. For example, in RCCG, we spend a substantial amount of money on corporate social responsibility of between N250m and N400m every month.” he said.

Commenting on the hike in petrol pump price and electricity tariff, Adeboye faulted the government policies, saying government need to consider its people and reconsider introducing such policies at a time people were getting relief from the scourge of COVID-19.

I don't want to hear tithe payers complain about hardship in Naija ooo...

Windows of heaven are opened and overflowing blessings are upon you all. grin

Hypocrisy is claiming "tithing works for me" and at the same time shouting "life is tough these days in Nigeria"

If Nigeria is managed like RCCG OR WINNERS by now the country will be like Singapore or UK.
Without any allocation from government Living Faith is running two world class Universities, 100s of secondary and primary schools (research shows non of the schools has less than 80% winners children).
If Ebonyi State Governor can turn the state into what it is today with the small allocation, no Governor have any excuses not even Federal Government.
I pray for total destruction of the people behind this country backwardness.

Talk is cheap....let any of them be elected as Nigerian present and see how it will be......
You can't compare a private business to a public service/business in Nigeria......
Funny how people jump to conclusions on things they know nothing about......

Same people crictizing the government are same people looting and stealing from the government.....
