They keep building infrastructures in very hostile regions, and worse still with loans, only for them to be destroyed?!

Why not build those things in the South first and tackle North's high level of insecurity, then when peace is restored, you can start building those infrastructure there. That's common sense 101.
is GEJ not the one who built it. Or is ur memory fading away?

Train window smashed twice along a particular route, one would have thought that among the first batch of questions people would ask is, ‘along what section of track? Why? How can the section be made safer? what measure of security can we take?

Instead we get, ‘We need national restructuring’; ‘divide the country now!’; ‘Northerners always building in the North instead of the South’; ‘expect more of this because millions of people are unemployed” etc, etc

Nigerians make excuses for criminals and don’t seem to understand that criminals exist as part of the human condition irrespective of poverty alleviating amenities on the ground.

Evidence for gunmen, terrorists, herdsmen or vandals, please...

Some want to put us back in stone age: Twitter reacts to vandals damaging Railways' fastest train

The Railways' fastest train - Train 18, which is scheduled to be flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on December 29, was pelted with stones on Thursday during a trial run between Delhi and Agra, a senior official said. The window of one of the coaches of the Rs 100-crore train was damaged. Hours after the incident, the Railways appealed to the public to desist from damaging railway property that has been essentially made for their convenience. Train 18, the country's first engineless train which has been manufactured by Integral Coach Factory, Chennai, recently became India's fastest train by hitting speeds of over 180 kmph during a trial run on a section of the Delhi-Rajdhani route.

This project should have been prioritised to regions where security are assured and where its necessity are highly demanded without any political sentiment to help in boosting our IGR, and most importantly produce a return for the invested loan.

Thugs filmed throwing concrete at King’s Cross trains

Dangerous: A teenager throws a rock at a train ( )

Teenage yobs have been filmed hurling lumps of masonry into the paths of commuter trains.

Police and transport chiefs slammed the "dangerous" vandals today after the footage was posted on YouTube.

A local resident who took this picture, said the youths could have killed a driver or passengers on the tracks outside King's Cross station on Monday evening.

some of you have no sense.

What do you say of a country that one small boy will enter market, mosque, church, Road and start shooting anybody at sight but after arrest that is the end of the scenario.

But they will tell you that your own country is corrupt and support terrorism whereby they are the hidden terrorist, and u also join them condemning your country.

Maybe some of you will have the sense in another world.

Absent from Nigeria appears effective policing and criminal accountability in the public eye: in the first instance, army has ineffectively replaced police and in the second instance, Nigerians blame the unity of Nigeria for criminality instead of criminals. So for instance, a building collapses in Nigeria, highway accident happens, kidnapping or armed robbery resulting in casualty takes place and instead of Nigerians apportioning blame and outrage at perpetrators then forwarding preventative solutions, responses are invariably, ‘cuss Lord Lugard!’ ‘We want Biafra’ ‘the zoo must be divided’, ‘corrupt politicians; ‘the elites are living big , we are suffering’, ‘Afonja goats!’, ‘Igbo drug seller!’ etc, etc.

Public outrage online that could be a force for change in Nigeria is too often misplaced, in pointless calls for National dissolution or wasted on ethnic bigotry.

I’m not picking on India, with these pics and vids posted.. It’s just that the Western world is cleverly and quietly removing certain evidence of their antisocial and deviant occurrences from online world wide evaluation. For instance, incidence of youths hurling bricks at trains in the UK and sometimes huge concrete slabs from railway arches down at railway tracks as trains approach was common but cant seem to find literature or video of such events online. However , Indians like Nigerians appear to naively make available for international consumption even the the littlest mishaps in their country.

PHOTONEWS: Fears As Gunmen Attack Abuja-Kaduna Train Twice On Monday, Government Claims It Was ‘Stone Throwers’

''NRC denies report of bandits attacks on Abuja-Kaduna train''

The Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) has denied reports of alleged bandits attacks on Abuja-Kaduna train KA4 between Asham and Kubwa on Monday afternoon.
NRC‘s Managing Director, Mr Fidet Okhiria, who made the denial in a statement on Tuesday, said the reports were false.

According to him, there are always hoodlums who usually throw heavy stones at the moving train along Abuja-Kaduna route.

“There was no bandit attack on the train; it’s just a rumour otherwise, they will have seen bullet all over the train.
”It was hoodlums who threw stones at the train and because the Police got one suspect, at night, more hoodlums came out to attack the train in protest against the arrest made in the afternoon.

“NRC has, however, spoken to security agencies to help us prevent such future occurrences and intervene in the matter, so they will know how best to deal with the situation’” Okhiria said.

He, however, urged the public using the trains not to panic, as the Minister of Transportation and NRC would ensure the safety of Nigerians on that route.

Similarly, the Manager Abuja-Kaduna Train Service, Mr Paschal Nnorli, confirmed that the train arrived at Idu station on schedule on Monday, and denied any bandit attack.

Nnorli said:” The attention of Nigerian Railway Corporation has been drawn to fake online news that the KA4 train from Kaduna to Abuja was attacked on Monday by armed bandits between Asham and Kubwa.

“This news is false. In between Asham and Kubwa sections, some hoodlums threw stones and broke the windscreen of our locomotive.

” The crew and armed police escort went after them, the train, however, continued its trip down to Idu,” he said.

Why would anyone stone a moving train?

At the speed of the train, any stone thrown at it should bounce off.

If it's stone throwers that means people in the north don't deserve good things

Lol. Even a bullet ought to bounce off. Don't mind them.

The evidence is becoming more clear and clear everyday and for everyone to notice.
Yet, the government of the day has continued to deny that Nigeria is already a failure.
How on earth would you proof to a government that they have lost control totally.
Buhari administration is a great mistake.

Firstly, Armed Bandits didnt attack d train.
Hoodlums broke d glass with stone and were pursued by security operatives.
Secondly, there was no 2nd 'attack' .
The 2 images there are same just dat they removed d seat cover in one picture while d other pic has a seat cover on.
